Yes thanks, I always do that- yes Electify NXT.
(My first laptop DAW was EnergyXT, and that because I'd used that lamented out of date little iOS gem, the iOS EnergyXT, which I also wish would see a re-up)
Sylo Synthesiser
If Samplr gets Link and separate outputs will be a happy man
Sep outs..........ooohh (trembles)
Funny, I loaded them onto my wife's iPad mini 2 a year or so ago and recorded about 7 or 8 sessions of each for future usage (in case the apps disappear altogether) ... another decent substitute I found is Giant Isopod, which is getting long in the tooth itself, last updated Oct, 2014, but still worked in AUM for a recent recording
If you're into wild noise makers, Doug did a vid on it:

I have a soft spot for TNR-i, so Link would be nice and/or new sounds/sample import. Recently updated for iOS, so I guess it's possible.
Glitch1
Dr Ohm
Stochastic
Werkbench
Noisemusick
Buddha machine
Drone FX
........& other examples of wishful thinking
Way Out Ware's Synth X (speaking of wishful thinking)
Hear you on this. Sample import would send me right back into the weeds with this one...
When I think of j_liljedahl these days, the lyrics from Tom Waits keep popping into my head: "What´s he building in there? We have a right to know ..."
I just read that Konkreet performer has been abandoned http://konkreetlabs.com/2017/02/20/time-to-say-goodbye/
I would like to see Pyxis Minor get midi out. It's such a nice simple app but there's no way I'm doing anything with the built in sounds
Launchkey
Most important part of this thread.
Praise be.
Another wish here for further Z3ta updates pretty please with sugar on top?
Nooooooooooooooo, always held out a teeny hope it might be updated one day, used to inspire me no end when I linked it up to reaktor, felt like the star trek future I was promised as a child, or should I say, wanted to live in.
Think I'm going to get another hard drive and start saving off all my old apps again, as loads seem to be disappearing from the app store and my previous purchase lists. Just wish apple would keep a copy of good apps and their iap's, ones that had thought put into them and not just crappy cash grabs, on their servers for eternity, tis important for the historical record.
Yeah I agree, if an app disappears the iap thing is an issue which Apple should address. Plus they should keep a copy. As far as Konkreet goes, I'm glad I didn't buy it now but can't see much it did that you can't do with the likes of Lemur and TC-data, but I never tested it.
It didn't have the functionality of lemur and tc-data, but was very inspiring to use, to be far though, I used it less after I got lemur.
Thor for sure! Propellerhead are pretty reasonable, so I'm sure a 64-bit Thor update will be coming before iOS 11 is released. I know Nanostudio 2 and BM3 are in the works and saved up enough money to purchase the updates. Caustic 3 was already updated in a big way (stereo sampling!), so that's already out of retirement. Sunrizer already got its upgrade as well, so there's that.
However, I'd also like for z3ta+ to be updated, but I think we all know by now Cakewalk is currently run by a bunch of lazy apathetic dicks who don't care about the iOS port of their flagship synth let alone care about their customers. So, wishing for a z3ta+ upgrade is wishful thinking after all.
I just got a reply from the SquareSynth developer and it's positive news!
"
I absolutely will release an AU extension update for SquareSynth. I feel 100% sure about that. It's just unclear when I'm going to finish it. I'm currently working on a very exciting new app, that will be an AU host. It's will almost certainly be interesting if you like SquareSynth. It provides a complete song writing solution.
So obviously, it would be pretty lame if I didn't make SquareSynth into an AU. But it will take some time. Luckily, that project is nearing an end. Here's a random screenshot.

So it looks like we'll be well covered in the future with NES-Style chip sounds on iOS!
Paging @brambos when can we get your timeless classics TU2 and Tunafish back on IOS?
Vintage software by now (16 years old
)... not sure how well they would translate to the iOS realm (and people's expectations of music software these days). But a fun thought experiment for sure
csSpectral is an incredible effect, hope it at least makes it to 64bit. Steinbergs Loopmash HD could get link and sample import, wouldn't complain
Wait a second! Are you the Bram from Smart Electronix? Or is he a different Bram?
No, that's a different Bram. I'm the Bram who made Hammerhead, Tunafish, Moonfish, Tuareg, Tu2 etc.
Yep TU2 on windows xp! The golden years!! Rage drum machine, laid back and funky drummer in the sample slicer and the Amber synth with the chaos pad. Holds up to the test of time!
No one has said SynthX, yet?]
SynthX!
SynthX!!
SynthX!!!
Hammerhead was the 1st iOS app I bought for my 1st iPhone. It opened my eyes to iOS being a potentially serious musical tool.
Oh, and another vote for Samplr and Alchemy.
