    I dig the podcast thingy but I find all of them lacking in the "get down to business" aspect. I mean..., for the first 10 min of each one you hear the current life story's of the host's. Just land the topic and get on with it for Christ's sakes.

    Quite a few audio podcasts out there. Sonic Talk, Gear Club Podcast, Tonebenders are great and often very informative.
    Song Exploder, Sound Matters, SoundWorks Collection, The Sound Architect and The New Audio Podcast are also worth subscribing to.

    Crimetown is excellent. Archive 81, Welcome to Nightvale and The Bright Sessions are good late night listens

    For anyone who's into the artier side of things, 'Standing in the Stream' is pretty interesting. Interviews with composers, visual artists, poets, etc. What's great about them is that the interviewer is a composer/musician himself and so he focuses on artistic process. 'Meet the Composer' is also good if that's your thing (the John Luther Adams episode was great).

    Synthesizer Library Podcast

    First two episodes I found were really helpful ( and only 15 minutes each ) ..especially if trying to figure out synthesis as a beginner.

    Some of my favorites: "48 Hours" on Play.it, "Left, Right, and Center" on NPR, "PBS NewsHour", and "Skeptoid".

    Recording studio rockstars, audionowcast (my favorite of all time, infrequent episodes these days but always awesome), tape op, Dean delray, Scott's bass lessons, groove: the no treble podcast, sonic talk, pensados place, recording lounge, decibel geek, the double stop, and then some social work / therapy podcasts for my non-music side of life.

    Yes, I listen to a lot of podcasts, one good point about having jobs that require tons of driving. Radio here is so bad that I can't listen, except Mondays and Fridays in NFL season when I have on sports talk.
