    Got more 32bit apps than expected. Not many music ones but, as @Carnbot noticed, Nanostudio is indeed in the “life support” list.

    So is Sunrizer XS, sadly enough. Haven’t used it much, but it’s very convenient to have it along with the full Sunrizer on iPad.

    I was afraid this day would come :( I'm not showing an iOS update for my legacy iPhone 5. But, I read it's supposed to be the oldest device supported? Seems someone here with an iPhone 5 said they updated too. Maybe they have a 5s?

    Also, has anyone confirmed 100% Auria Pro compatibility with 10.3?

    AFAIK the Lyra sampler in Auria uses disk streaming, I wonder if this will be affected by iOS 10.3 also?

    Since it appears my lowly iPhone 5 is now officially obsolete, I just started shopping for deals on an unlocked iPhone 6s or iPhone SE (I want a headphone jack)

    Then, I remembered that in reality, I rarely do much more than dink around on my iPhone anyway. I use the phone part, the texting part, and browse Safari if I'm bored. Anything related to image, video, or audio editing... I just wait until my iPad is within reach. Why bother with the smaller device if you have both?

    This past weekend, my wife and I went to a local car show and met up with a friend of my wife's. I noticed his phone looked alien and wondered the make and model. He said it was just a plain flip phone and that he didn't have a need for a "smart" phone. Didn't need one.

    If I'm being honest... I was a wee bit jealous.

    Looks like most of the unlocked 6s and SE's are sold out.

    I read iPhone 5 gets 10.3, but mine keeps saying my 10.2.1 is up to date, while my iPad Air 2 says 10.3 is available both on same network. Looks like they may have cut the iPhone 5.

    Possibly. I vaguely remember ios10 popping up as available for my Air 2 before it showed up for the iPhone 5. No biggy if it's not supported though. I was planning on upgrading anyway. Was hoping to squeeze another 6 months or until the battery failed before upgrading. Regardless, even if I can't update the iPhone 5, it'll still do the only things I actually use it for anyway. :)

    Worked for me on the 5, but I was going through iTunes. Maybe the delay is for those trying to upgrade without syncing/backing up first. Due to file system changes in this version, they may be extra cautious of bricking.

    That must've been it. thx! Hooked up to iTunes, backed up.. then voila, 10.3 appears. Updating now. Fingers crossed I don't get bricked. ;)

    Only scanned the article, but I guess there is a way to turn it off.

    When you try to run a 32bit app you get a nag screen saying it may slow down your device, will not be compatible with future update (iOS11?) and contact the app dev to get them to update to 64bit before it gets removed from the App Store.

    This probably also does mean that all 32 bit iOS devices won't get an update to iOS 11. Does this btw mean that all lwer version will still be able to download purchased 32 bits apps?

    As I understand all 32bit only apps will be completely removed from the App Store. Start backing up those 32bit apps.

    That sounds unlikely there's still lots of iPad 2/3/4 out there

    You need to login on your iTunes acount and search for your purchased apps. Ones you see your apps you can choose to download them to your PC.

    I had 600 MB free space before the update.....1.27 GB free after :)

    EDIT: I then used the Clear Cache option in Dropbox and amazingly (NOT) My space went down to 1.19 GB....I give up trying to understand free space on iOS :|

    I heard that APFS calculates storage different, and that is one reason it looks like we're getting a bit more free space after the update. Plus, even erasing your phone and reinstalling from an iCloud backup will tend to free up quite a bit of space on its own too.

    I guess if it is now using a smaller block size for the storage a lot of wasted space will be gained back. Or perhaps it now knows more about what is cached and will be overwritten when needed so shows this as free space.
