    Digging the way it visually represents messages. Three questions for anyone that owns it and has a minute:

    1. Does it rotate into landscape?
    2. Can you tell it to ignore message types (like aftertouch)
    3. Can you tell it to ignore certain ports?

    Hey Will, just got it.

    Yeah Visuals are a nice touch, landscape as mentioned.

    But no filtering of messages or ports.

    Hey MIDI filter came out with last update! You can activate/deactivate in fancy way. (Drag the glasses to the guy's face, it filters) it's fun.

    Looks interesting... does it show timestamps for incoming packets? (Both wall clock and from the MIDI packet)... if not, maybe add that to the future feature list :)

    Filter looks perfect and simple. Bought it. Not near any MIDI gear at the moment so I'll have to test it out later.

    What's New in Version 1.6.6

    • MIDI Channel filter added: Eliminate messages comes from unwanted MIDI channels.
    • MIDI Message filter added: Eliminate unwanted channel and control messages (e.g. Note on, Note off, Pitch wheel etc.)
    • iOS 11 Compatibility updated.

    Wait, so how would I set it up to filter Program changes say from Midiband sending 8 midi tracks to Roland SC?

    I'm not sure it acts as an actual filter. The way I understood it is that it's a midi monitor and you can choose to filter out unwanted stuff from the monitoring only. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

    Exactly. No filtering of the MIDI streams, only the monitoring. It's purely for diagnostics.

    You might ask the MIDI Flow developer. MIDI Flow the app can do this for sure but I don't think there's a AB3 MIDIFlow mini-app to filter out certain messages.

    By the way we've just released a quick fix.

    Update 1.7.3 covers some corrections.
    +UI Optimisation For iPad. Now, MIDI messages are better aligned.
    +Background mode fix . Now MIDI events are recording in background mode.
