Caustic 3 any future plans known?
dug out Caustic today. was a nice noodling around but some serious features are still missing. does anyone happen to know if Rej will develop it further? their forum does not give any hints on this topic.

I don’t think Rej has posted on that forum since February and Caustic has not seen any iOS library updates (or anything else) since then. If anyone knows anything they’re not saying. It’s still a great app but it’s falling behind.
As far as I know, the developer works as a one-man show. This will take some time. But it's worth waiting. He always delivers extremely stable and smart apps.
i know, i like Caustic quite a lot but it's an island app - no Link or other propperly working sync solution...
For me, if caustic could record incoming pitch bends from MIDI it’d be perfect. That’s not gonna happen, as it’s got its own unique programming-oriented approach to pitch bend already baked in.
Still wondering what's happening with Caustic 3. Seems the official website is down at the moment.
Caustic is one of the most underrated music apps.
Sadly it's been years since anything changed on Caustic. I've been using it since 2012 and still love it and will continue to use it for as long as it works bit I've got the feeling that's it for further development.😢
Screw it. I'm gonna purchase a decent Samsung tablet with the latest Android OS. That way I don't have to worry about Caustic 3 breaking on it since Android OS updates don't seem to break apps like iOS updates break apps.
I hope that one day it will be updated with audio tracks and AuV3 hosting.
Lol. Last time I checked Samsung phones and tablets had horrible latency with Caustic so be careful. My new Nokia phone runs it beautifully.
Runs fine on my iPad 2019 with latest iOS. Use Documents by Readdle or similar app (I use iFiles) to connect to all Caustic folders via FTP. Speaks nicely to AudioShare. UI not quite as slick as NS2 but still a good overall user experience for me.
True, the latency could be an issue, but then again, I tend to program notes rather than play them in, so the latency may not affect me so much.
Run caustic on mate 20 pro and it works apsolutly fine
