He said, and I quote "It's a stochastic loop mangler." app... and "it's a big one."
All 3 of the teaser shots can be seen here...

Jonatan Liljedahl tweeted that this will be a 'stochastic loopmangler' app
@OmnilimbO yes thank you
That's right. First version submitted to app store today!
Slice and sequence your loops with a network of markov-chain connections between slices and probability-based coin-flipping patterns. Apply warp functions for glitches and modulations. Tweak and trigger in real time performance.
Y-----u........mmmmm.....mmmmm------yyyyy:----)
Jonathan:
Really looking forward to it. Are you familiar with an old (1990's) stochastic sequencer for MSDOS called SoundGlobs? I'd love to see someone recreate that for iPad or Mac/PC!
Never heard of SoundGlobs, will investigate
Looks like the compass on the iphone when you calibrate it! Apple are gonna sue your ass Jonathan!
I can tell you that if you used this thing as a compass, you would either get eternally lost, or find your way to another dimension. ;-)
That's good, I do want to show you other dimensions

Looks great, kymatica's apps are awesome. Haven't been disappointed yet.
looks interesting. Reminds me of another sequencer, Iannix, which I wanted to test since some time.
Yes, it is awesome.
While on the surface one might assume this app is only for glitch producers, nothing could be further from the truth. This will fit a broad range of genres and uses. It's a very versatile tool once you get under the hood and find the right gears to shift, and drive it toward your needs. It may sound like a contradiction of terms, but this thing really does give you very deep and complete control over even the slightest of randomizing parameters and slicing. SECTOR is an incredibly powerful app that will be extremely useful to anyone interested in adding rhythmic interest to their productions, sound design, or live setup. From super subtle slicing and shifting to absolutely chaotic mayhem, this will deliver very impressive content. You can take this anywhere from 100% rigid and controlled, to 100% warped random chaos... and anywhere in between.
Highly polished, beautifully designed, and beastly as can be. It's a winner.
Are we still looking at up to 2 weeks review times with Apple?
Looks great, what's it gonna cost?
@OmnilimbO: Thanks! Your words shows that my idea with SECTOR worked out as planned
It will cost $6.99 introductory price, and I will raise it when adding major new features in coming updates.
This one sounds like it's up my alley. Can't wait!
Looking forward to this !
Goodness me... $6.99 is a bargain for this app. Add a 1 to the front of that and it's still a fair price. Really looking forward to the planned feature updates as well. Exciting things ahead.
Steady on @OmniimbO, Jonatan might decide to take you up on that:-)
Hahaha... Emphasis on the "bargain" .. not the "add". ;-)
I know it's worth more than $6.99, but I want you all to afford it
However, it's the launch price only..
I'd pay 7 bucks just to see a video of this in action
Ok that was a lie
A video would be awesome though
