Once Xequence is a true AB3 midi sender, this will be less cumbersome. I'm loving Quantum+ AB3 for instant and gratifying setup and session save experience. I love AB3 app switching, state save, and AB Remote. Can't wait for Xequence to be in that role as well. B)

    @tja @ksound: it is on the roadmap, however with all the talk about AUv3 MIDI and the like, I'm currently not sure what direction AB3 will take... it may not be the very next thing to be implemented. There's just so much stuff on the list, both requests from our users and our own wishlist, so I can't give a specific timeline right now! :|

    @tja yes I can see the sidebar being a strong argument pro AB3 integration.

    Nudging on the AB3 issue. The sidebar would be huge, too, but the lack of state-saving is keeping me from wanting to mess with more than four tracks. The workflow is great, but too much time is lost in setup, and not enough of my favorite apps are getting AU. Tricky time to be a midi dev, I guess.

    @aaronpc: I agree on the sidebar issue. However, not sure what you mean about state saving? Even though Xequence does not have AB integration, all you need to do to recall an entire project is two things: 1) Load the AB preset, 2) Load the Xequence project. Unless I'm missing something.

    I've had trouble with the AB apps recalling their midi connections and having to rewire, but I should do some more testing. Maybe I'm the one who should get rewired.

    @aaronpc: The destination apps don't have to do anything -- Xequence automatically keeps rescanning all running apps if any of them is used in one of the instruments in the current project, and recreates the connection automatically when the app becomes available (it will flash a notification when a required app gets connected / disconnected).
