Vectornator is free
Since I found out about Clip Studio paint on this forum I know there are a few of us who like drawing. This very good vector app is now free.

Nice! It’s like they read my mind with how the 1/2/3 finger modifiers work when drawing with the pen tool (and apple pencil) and adjusting bezier handles. Very intuitive 👍
Pretty cool vector app. Well done and intuitive. My favorite vector drawing app is Concepts, but this one is more useful for regular vector layout stuff with a familiar interface like illustrator. Thanks for the heads up!
This is awesome! Has CMYK color profile handling! Haven’t had a chance to check on Pantone, but due to licensing fees/app price I’m guessing probably not.
Even if no Pantone, if I could define my own spot color would be awesome! One less reason to open the ole rMBP.
Thanks!
The good thing about this one is you can export to illustrator ai files.
Still my current favourite is Autodesk Graphic but I'm looking forward to Affinity Designer when it eventually is released as planned.
Me too! Feel like I’ve been waiting for Designer for years already. I find Vectornator and Graphic to be very similar, except for the cmyk bonus!
Looks pretty close from this vid

That’s exciting news! I only came across Vectornator trying to find if there was an update to Designer. Still a good app for free, if you’ve got the space!
All of these Illustrator clones are based on the same free sourcecode of an old open source app called inkpad:

Each developer has put there on skin and spin on the core tech. I really liked Skribl, but lately I am using Bezel.
No one here is reinventing the wheel, just re-arranging it.
Skribl is cool. Has some unique tools.
What is Bezel?
Yeah, you see a lot of Inkpad clones. Vectornator seems to be its own beast.
Have you used Graphic? It works well for some things, but can be quirky.
I do use it for almost all my vector work on iOS...
I did it with Vectornator. I like it. Thanx.
