@ka010 when i am sending audio out of my ipad pro via lighting port cable. It has a crackling sound. none of my apps do this, in the same configuration. but volt is very crackly when play. any ideas?

it's a sample rate issue, the adapter will force a rate of 48khz but the standalone version fails to pass this along to the audio unit. It's fixed in the current beta, an official update should be available tomorrow.

Hey! My day just got slightly better.:-) Many thanks, just updated.

  • This synth is a bit special. I was getting some really different sounds out of it. Go easy on the dials, just a little nudge can radically change the sound. Very nice.

Glad to hear that! The knobs need some tweaking to allow more more precise control, hoping to tackle that for the next update.

Legato should work with external keyboards too :)
I first thought it was a 'bug' with the VOLT keyboard but nope.

    Also the Voice/Polyphony + / - is missing in the AUv3?!

They're missing in the AU UI because there's less space. However it shouldn't matter because you can also change the voices by scrolling the voice display unfortunately tho that control broke when adding the scrolling feature in 1.1. hope that makes sense.

Anyway, it's already fixed in the latest beta.

  • Also don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t really tell when I press the Panic button. Not sure if I actually activated it or not. No biggie, but I press it a couple times just to make sure. :)

You’ll be getting a cease and desist from my lawyer. I actually wrote that in college. The script was two pages of plot outlines, a few paragraphs of lyrics, and a drawing of Billy Joel wrecking his car into a house. The finale included Allman Bros. dueling guitars with each riding in a dual sidecar on the same motorcycle.

Yeah, It never really got off the ground.

  • Hey @ka010. Just noticed that the arpeggiator doesn’t follow the tempo in stand alone mode. Also, if you turn latch off on the arp menu, then turn enable off and back on again, the latch resumes. Is this intentional?

    Still loving this baby!

It's just the voice number sliding thingy that's broken, everything else should be good.

There was an issue with the latching, it shouldn't resume. It's fixed in the latest beta. However, not sure what's going on with the tempo, can't reporduce it over here. Did you have Link or MIDI sync enabled as well?

  • @ka010 with link off it works fine. But if link is on the tempo change doesn’t change the arp. Wasn’t linked to any apps if that matters.

Thanks! Should be an easy fix.

  • MIDI IN bug in IAA? I ran v1.1 as IAA in AUM and selected AUM’s keyboard for input. I also tried an external USB keyboard. Neither keyboard seemed to work. However, the same scenario works with Animoog, PPG, iSEM, Kauldron, Yamaha FM and most other synths. (Except also fails for Phosphor 2.)

  • Still can’t save a preset in AUM. I have a patch with Zeeon, Volt & Synth One, Volt has to be reloaded each time I call it up as it always defaults back to the init patch.

  • I was looking to buy Volt and emailed them today about this, also about KB-1 needing state saving too.

I won’t buy it until the fix has been confirmed.

  • Volt is statesaving ok for me, just the patch name reverts to init which is annoying but at least the sound is saved.

    Sweet... still KB-1 @ka010 please!

Bless, sorry if my last message sounded tardy.

I wish to make tribute to the excellent recent app Shockwave. Awesome apps.
