  • Cheers guys!

  • so after buying all the bundles and some more i have a question....

in the discription of some packs it said that with some of the packs (like Space-x.....) containing a selection of midi clips...now, i am not able to find them anywhere. Where are they located?

I've just grabbed the 4 bundles, but I can't install them.
They're marked as "purchased" and if I click on any of them, it's noted "You own this"... BUT, if I touch the "RE-INSTALL" button, I'm asked to pay again :'( :/
Anyone else got the problem ?

Edit : using the "Restore Purchases" button at the bottom right did the job 👍. Problem solved.

That's the better way since you can batch download, but if you tried to rebut then it would just say you've already bought it and ask if you wanted it for free, the usual IAP dialog window.

    and @JohnnyGoodyear

The midi patterns that come free with soundpack banks are accessed via the 'pattern helper' - this is the sidebar which you can toggle in Song or Scenes view which lists all of the patterns for the currently selected bank.

If you can't see it, tap the mini project overview graphic (top-left of the screen, next to the hambuger)

  • Thanks a lot....

@tk32 Thank you TK. I appreciate it....so it sounds as if you have to be 'in' a bank which has patterns associated with it to see them? It's all new to me, I didn't even realize there was a 'pattern helper' etc :)

  • Plus, when you load the bank then browse to it and make sure that the bottom line says “Load patterns ON”. It is normally set to OFF, which would not let the midi clips appear in the pattern helper.

Thanks @bleep I forgot to mention that tidbit :)

I REALLY need the Big & Simple Expository BM3 Book....

  • Perhaps I'm too late to the party, but, have you guys seen this video about Beatmaker 3?

For me it's new! Awesome whatsoever...

  • I grabbed all the IAPs but installing them is a huge pain. The downloads are fast, but it keeps hanging on “importing files”. Both my 2015 12.9 and 2017 10.5” iPad Pros keep getting stuck.

  • Yup. I had to switch to individually downloading and installing each bundle. Takes a loooong time up to an hour for some of the bigger ones

The issue seems to be directly proportional to the size of your BM3 sample library.

The bigger the library, the longer it takes to import and update the tag database. Which is why soundpack importing is so damn fast immediately after a fresh install of BM3

This is something they need to fix. Took me 15 hours one time to scan my database. There should be a install with out a scan. This is nuts it’s one reason why I haven’t bought a sound pack up until now cause it took for ever and it’s taking forever now

  • I just got the Mark II Berlin fender Rhodes pack one - its very nice!!

I imported them after a fresh BM3 import and it still took a few hours. You are right that it gets worse as the db grows though.

  • FYI, It’s been mentioned a couple of times on the Intua forum that the Acoustic Bass bank defaults to 100% wet reverb and sounds off until thats changed.

  • IAP banks back to normal prices here in Australia good job I grabbed quite a few at super discount prices!!

  • Have to agree about the incredibly long IAP import time; puts me off which is bad for business etc.

  • BUT... amazing value IAPs. A steal.

  • Got them all so I’ll prob install one a week. Start before I got to work so it will be ready by the time I get home

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.

Space X is superb.....got that and all 4 bundles and 808

Please excuse my ignorance, but how does one look up all the parts of a pack? I'm sure it's simple, but I bought Space-X and can see it lists various pieces in the sales spec, including for example Eden Synth (made me think of NS1 :) ), which I can go to the bank list and see and then load. Is there any other way of pulling up the other parts/sounds of Space-X beyond going back to the list in the sales spec?

There's a good chance I'm not understanding, but are you using the filtering in the bank list? It defaults to All Packs but if you click on that you can choose Space-X from the weirdly sorted list. Sorry if that's pointing out the obvious.

  • My recommendation is to buy them yesterday, when they were cheaper.
