Please excuse my ignorance, but how does one look up all the parts of a pack? I'm sure it's simple, but I bought Space-X and can see it lists various pieces in the sales spec, including for example Eden Synth (made me think of NS1 :) ), which I can go to the bank list and see and then load. Is there any other way of pulling up the other parts/sounds of Space-X beyond going back to the list in the sales spec?

There's a good chance I'm not understanding, but are you using the filtering in the bank list? It defaults to All Packs but if you click on that you can choose Space-X from the weirdly sorted list. Sorry if that's pointing out the obvious.

Exactly. Thank you. Was not filtering. For future reference, almost anything I ask falls into the 'he can't really be that obtuse about the huge nose on the front of his face can he?' category :) Thanks again.

Any/all of our questions are obvious to someone.

And that's one of the miraculous things hereabouts :)

Actually, the upright bass was so low in volume. Do I have to go in and normalize every sample now, gah.
The bertha bass was cool, and the ludwig kit was great. Comes with 43 good midi clips.

    For that upright bass...
Open the audio FX for the pad you have the bass loaded on.
    Scroll down to the reverb.
    Crank up the dry mix.
Don’t know why, but it defaults to zero.

Uh I had exactly the same reaction! So thank you so much for posting this. Everyone was making such a big deal about the upright bass and I wasn't getting it. I definitely need to pay attention before getting pissed off that something is very low quality or I'm doing something wrong.

Don’t quote me on this.. but it’s possible the dry mix control was not present inside MVerb when the upright bass pack was made, and it may have been added in one of the flurry of BM3 updates that happened between August-November 2017.

This would possibly explain the rather inexplicable case of why the dry mix is set to 0% — although now that it has been spotted, and noted, I would hope someone retrospectively fixes it.

(Note - I could be wrong about this.. my memory is starting to grey the same way patches of my hair are)

  • Best BM3 IAP?

Packs are still on sale for 99cents probably until New Years Day.

Depends on what you like to play with- I like the newest ones, easiest to take a picture...

The ones that didn’t fit on the screen also are recommended (808 Science, 909 Science, Acid Footsteps, Aquatronica)

I have all of them actually (these are just the sets I’ve moved into Loopseque 8) and would say go nuts the price is right.

  • The constituent and fly life are great kits by MSXII Audio and to me a must have.Ashes 2, Neon Noir...F it get them all @$.99 you can’t go wrong. Listen to the demos and make your purchase from there

  • I have everything but the Epic packs, anyone have an opinion on those?

  • Missed it, by the time I got back from work, the sale was over. Mebbe next year. I did get BM3 the time it was free for NAMM though, which still feels so gravy.

  • Why don’t you buy a full price pack, then, to show some support.

I’ve bought most of them, didn’t have the MSXII ones. BF spending precludes the idea of dropping more cash until Drambo comes out in 2045.
