Is this a good DAW? How does it compare to BM3?
I own Bm3 but hate the layout. I was thinking about getting nano studio 2 as well.
Somehow confusing to me.

reasons
1 You create and instrument track and it automatically creates 2 track.one called midi on which midi is recorded and then an instrument track which is empty 🤔🤔don’t know why they choose that way.makes the view messy.leaving you with lots of empty tracks.oh and your effects go on the instrument track.if you delete the midi track, both tracks go.
2 the page moves a lot when you trying to select clips
I love the builtin effects and the eq has visual .the mixer is also nice.the only downside is that it also shows the midi track and it has a fader but does nothing if you move it up or down.quite confusing like i said but I think it has potential ✌️
Wow bro, guess I will deal with nano studio 2 instead which I heard amazing things about.
Thank you!
I’m a vocalist.. What special vocal fx does this have besides auto tune?
Here’s a picture of some of the effects. It also (of course) takes all the auv3 plugins, so you will not be short of effects.
Been playing with the free IOS version this morning. So it appears that you can record an inter-app audio instrument as midi rather than an audio file. For example, I inserted iGrandPiano in a midi track and recorded a couple of bars. The result is a midi file which allows me to sub other iaa instruments (e.g., iElectric piano) on the same track. I thought this option was only possible if one uses AU plugins.
Is this flexibility specific to N-Track? I know that when using an IAA instrument in Garageband, it only records an audio file.
ok, guess I was mistaken. Was basing my assumption on experience with Garageband only.
Also, this setup doesn't require using audiobus. I select the iGrand instrument directly from within the N-Track menu...if I'm missing something obvious, please enlighten me.
There are IAA instruments and IAA Generators- Generators work with Audio Tracks and instruments work with midi tracks.
Still fooling around with N-Track. Apparently there is no way to do multiple takes on a track? Really? Even freebie Garageband allows that.
Forgot I even had this as a non-"pro" version
Still as confusing as day one.
As a side note…
Ah... seff! Takk, det visste Jeg ikke.
Ah... sure! Thanks, I didn’t know that.
@audiblevideo When the annoying panel flies out, the button you show stays left on the side of that panel. It’s hard to see, but it’s there. Tap it to dismiss the panel.
