Anyone got satechi hub for iPad Pro? (Incl 3.5mm)
https://satechi.net/products/aluminum-type-c-mobile-pro-hub
Seems a lot of money for what it is but has the ports I need, apart from the hdmi

Consider this. It doesn’t hang off the side of the iPad. I have one. Works great.

Thanks, looks great but a bit more than I want to spend. I’m trying to find a budget option with a 3.5mm, usb, and usb c power but it doesn’t seem to exist
I got this and so far its the only one Ive found with a headphone jack that allows you to play out of the speakers until headphones are plugged in. I wish it had an Ethernet port though.
Oooh, that is nice and has been an unknown. I went with a separate USB-C hub and 3.5mm adapter to make sure I had options on audio routing. I've had great luck with CableCreations USB-C extension cables which might solve the funky tumor issue, but I personally want more USB ports on the hub.
I've bought several Aplomb USB-C hubs, which are usually around $15 US, and they've been working great for me. The cheap options are nice because I've been setting them up like docking stations at a few locations in the house.
What’s the sound quality like from the headphone jack?
I want one with a lightning port to stick on my phone.
I got a 40 dollar type c hub, 3x usb3, 1x type c in and 1x type c out, hdmi, and Ethernet. I use a type c extender cable to the hub to not have a pile of wires on my lap or studio workspace 6 inches from the iPad.
It’s cool that these ones attach to the side and what not, but then can’t use case, and still have as many wires holding you down, so.... seems only like a half good idea lol. Good thing is, every type c hub/adapter I’ve used works fine. No more mfi.
I even daisy chained a belkin 4x usb hub to the other one and all the ports on both worked simultaneously.
Do you use headphones?
I use Logitech wireless headphones at the moment if I need to. They have a usb dongle that plugs into hub and into iPad, no audio latency like Bluetooth has, so you can use for live mixing or playing synths and what not.
But I usually plug my audiofuse into hub to iPad, all my analog synths and monitors go through the audiofuse. PLUS, the audiofuse has 3x powered USB ports, so I can hook up my audiofuse plus 4 midi controllers and an irig midi 2 in/out/through, while charging iPad.
Just ordered the midi twister controller, mega excited.
I backed the new hyper iPad dongle.
49$ sounded like a amazing deal for me. For now I am using a China hub called ICZI 6in1(unfortunately no 3,5 jack) but beside that it does everything I need. And well
For anyone who’s interested, I got so bored of hunting through options I just ordered the Apple USB-C to 35mm adapter and ordered some Akai wireless Bluetooth midi controllers - lpk25 and lpd8. Got the 2 for £100 in the Amazon sale.
