icloud ....FULL backups?
ok, so signed up for icloud, have kids, wife, my ios devices, etc all hooked up. 2tb for $9 a month. doable and i feel safer than a hard drive, since i have had a couple go bad over the years. love that potentially all backups are done in the background while I am sleeping. ...
however it seems it doesn't have an option to backup auria pro or lumafusion,...probably the brunt of my ipad files. anybody find a work around yet?

LumaFusion files get backed up and restored fine through iCloud. I was able to restore my iCloud backup onto another iPad recently with no loss of data. However, the media which LumaFusion refers to from Photos was missing. To sync photos/videos from other devices, we need to turn on iCloud Photos and Photo Stream from Settings for all devices and let them sync across devices while powered on and under WiFi. That way you get all the media files LumaFusion needs for the restored project files to work.
Also, the Photos app sync does not work perfectly and stops after sometime. We need to re-open Photos and keep tapping the link to upload the files until all files are in iCloud.
If you turn on iCloud backup, doesn't it automatically back up everything to the cloud?
@MobileMusic ok thanks. Will double check to make sure my footage is backing up.
*double post
You would think so, but i don’t think any of auria is backing up.
I don’t trust iCloud after I used it to backup a bunch of vacation photos. Lost 70% of my epic India shots.
What? Did the upload fail or did they upload fine and they disappeared.?
They uploaded and were available for some time, now there are still files there but they are corrupted.
Standard jpg files? What a nightmare.
Video recorded on my iPhone too. Definitely a nightmare. I'll never trust iCloud again.
