Arturia Synclavier V
I know this is off topic but the classic Synclavier has been resurrected on software by Arturia. This is exciting news as I have always wanted to test drive a Synclavier.
It would be great if this gets released for iPad.

It's not cheap but I doubt Arturia will have a license to market a Sinclavier iOS app seeing as Sinclavier have their own, so it may be your only option.
I heard today Arturia are working on something new in software that’s currently in beta from a guy who is testing it. I think it’s a new desktop vst/au what this space.
afaik the Synclavier app was written by Arturia for the Synclavier company.
It's got a very nice soundprint worth having in the palette and shines in multitimbral setups.

Not exactly the original sound (the app is extremely smooth), but quite unique.
Doesn't seem to be a huge success in sales... kind of a secret weapon atm.

Must be the underlying DSP as the UI/UX doesn't seem to have the usual Arturia polish!
But having just taken a perusal of the Arturia manual it seems the iOS version has included all of the extra elements they included in their updated Synclavier desktop plugin. Which it must be said is one of my favourite Arturia reinventions (that, the Oberheims and the Buchla).
I'm happy with the desktop version so I didn't see the point in forking out $30 to duplicate something I already have, but it's definitely something that's unique in an iOS world of me too FM and virtual analogs. Whilst most of the VirSyn synth line up are variations on different additive synthesis techniques, the Sinclavier is something different again, and of interest to far more than nostalgia freaks. Pity about the price though (speaking in relative terms here), otherwise I think it would have fared better with regards to sales.
Not sure about that. Arturia themselves got third parties to do their iOS apps. I think Retronyms did iMIni and iProphet, whils Rolf Wöhrmann (nlog) did iSEM and iSpark. Though I may be getting confused.
It's safe to assume that Arturia is responsible for all the algorithmic stuff, as stated in the video about the PC version of the software.
Outsourcing stuff for a different platform isn't unusual, Arturia' portfolio features a wide range of products.
