How do I get my scores of KQ Dixie Carts to show up AUM?
In standalone mode, I have tons of carts.
In AUM, only 2 factory carts appear.
What do I do?

However, I see all my carts whether they’re saved in the AU area or not. I wonder why?
Ahh ... I remember now. I turned on iCloud in the settings app.

How much are you paying for iCloud Drive?
$2.99 US per month here, but that’s mainly because I use it to back up all my devices. I could actually get by with the free tier or the free or $0.99 tier if I didn’t hate using iTunes for backups so much.
It's also quite easy in the stand-alone app to copy the *.syx banks to the AUx area. No need for iCloud...
KQ Dixie also supports *.ZIP files and has the option to hide incompatible files making it easier to browse among the *.syx files.
In the stand alone, tap on 'cart' then tap 'edit', select the *.syx/zip file, tap 'copy' and select AUx (IFS is the 'Documents' folder) as the destination, tap 'copy', done.
The nice thing about using iCloud is you don’t have to copy a thing. Every bank, no matter which area it’s saved in is visible in the AU as well as Standalone. But the best part is all saved banks show up automatically on all devices. Save on iPad and see it in seconds on iPhone. The only thing not visible from the AU are zip files.
The free iCloud tier is more than enough storage for this kind of thing.
True but I do NOT trust iCloudDrive at all since iOS does it's 'housekeeping' when starting to run out of space and can sometimes 'purge' local iCloud-Files meaning you do not have access to them without network connection so they can be downloaded again...(This happens a LOT with for example AudioLayer so patches have to be re-downloaded).
Also the 'sync' that iCloud has is not properly implemented. I can't even see all iCloud folders I have on the iOS device from my Mac since I don't have a corresponding app installed so they are 'hidden'. So if iCloud worked as it should I would have a KQ Dixie folder in the Finder on My Mac but there's none to be found.
Who knows maybe iOS13 'fixes' iCloud but I have my doubts...
I have no complaints or issues with it. I don’t have a Mac, and I don’t use large AudioLayer instruments, or I would save them locally anyway. I never once had files not available. Where I live, I am never without decent internet anyway. Well, there was that one backpacking trip, where a book I wanted didn’t get pulled from the cloud before the trip ... but that’s it.
Could be because I’m using less that 1/3 of my iCloud storage.
Yeah, I use just a few hundred MB's of the free 5GB and do local backups of my iOS devices.
I am looking forward to iOS13 and if it brings any news to file-management (mainly proper support for flash-drives and other mass-storage devices).
I keep most of the files local on my iPad and Airdrop between devices when needed.
In this case the free 5G iCloud you get from Apple is more than enough for the DX carts as they are very small. I’ve never had any files disappear from iCloud but I only use it for certain app backups like ChordPolyPad or Gadget which are small and I never get that close to the storage limit. I don’t store big files like photos there.
It is so convenient to have something created in Gadget or CPP or my collections of DX carts show up automatically on other devices. I use it for other apps too that aren’t coming to mind at the moment.
It's exactly the same here. iCloud has never let me down. It's been years since I've backed up to the desktop. I don't even have iTunes on my desktop.

That great thing is that I still get my iCloud on my Windows desktop and all of my Chrome bookmarks sync to Safari on my OS X devices. All the convenience with none of the pain!

I have the free 5Gb of iCloud, but enabling iCloud Drive demands that I upgrade. Do I really need iCloud Drive?
Not for the purpose of the OP in this thread. Just save your carts into the AU area in the app.
It’s convenient for other reasons though.
