Enjoy!
... and break a leg! We want more pics with a gown. That's how it all started right?
Just saying.
Is this in beta testing yet?
Also (OT) did I hear once that Zeeon would be given the VST treatment?
I suppose both these questions could be related!
I think is just a lie. Drambo doesn't exist. That is the real torment
we need proof!!!
when do we need it?!!
NOW!!!
And by Spoon, i mean Drambo...for we are all each Drambo 🤫🤪💕
We all have test flight 😁 just saying
is there beta available?
Yep.
But not for drambo.
iSequence, I am hoping
Is still a thing?
I was excited for a short moment... 😄
I'm gonna go ahead an assume that not having an immediate answer means that a release is imminent
Just give me some years
. @senhorlampada Drambo and iSequence have a lot in common: the same sequencing style, but the rest is modular
Ok.. Time for a small ping. I "lost" a lot of time looking for a proper, clean and uncluttered interface, that allows full modularity without using cables. I wanted to see a synth or effect like it was a dedicated app, not a spaghetti monster. This involved creating a lot of working versions and testing. I think I'm home now.
Signal flow and connections are color coded. Required connections are handled automatically and can be changed later by user. So you can make and modify any structure and its a blast. All modular signals are here: CVs, gates, midi etc.. You can create custom modules and fold them to make things less complex.
The rest of interface remains unchanged: iSequence style XoX sequencing with p-locks, step settings, conditionals, patterns.
The current version is unstable yet, after endless refactorings, but I'm quite close.
Thank you!
😍Oh man!!!.
We are stoked man!!! Great job on that look!!
Cant wait!!!!!
Nice!
Have you got a picture of a custom module? Is it fixed layout?
@recccp Its a container for now, looks like other modules, but contains a custom rack.
Oh wow, this is looking really nice! Brilliant to use color rather than cables cluttering the interface up.
There are lots of folks here who'd be more than happy to help you iron out those stability issues :-) (beta!, beta!, beta!....)
I will be a bit controversial but think the approach of Beepstreet is old school. I understand that he want his product to be perfectly polished before releasing it but this is not the way that works anymore. Actually, successful products have to be deployed on an incremental (scrum) way in order to have initial success and grow from here. It doesn't mean that the first version is buggy and so on. It means that the first version has to be a MVP (Minimal Viable Product) and has to evolve according to the feedbacks of (many) users, not only beta-testers...I am very excited to see this tool working but I am more and more fearing that it won't be my cup of tea...
You see this on attached example. Filter module has 2 connections: audio input and env ad (color coded knob is added dynamically after setting connection). I can add another modulation source by tapping cutoff knob and selecting input. Modulation knobs appear dynamically. If you want to see a specific case just let me know, let it be a test
You are right, except when it comes to very basic, fundamental assumptions. I am not able to change "the main language" later. I don't want the product to be perfectly polished at the beginning, just UX framework.
Good job on the colour option, just been looking at the VCVRack and all those cables everywhere makes me pine for a Drambo solution
This looks damn awesome!
Keep up the great work!
Concentric coloured circles within the knob?
@Artefact2001 No.. For parameter modulation inputs, there is a knob per connection. Each time you add a modulation source, a new knob appears and its already color coded (image: env ad modulates filter cutoff). Thanks to knobs you don't have to use separate attenuators. Other generic inputs are in the bottom: coloured circles containing signal type symbol. If you want to plug more connections to generic input you have to use a mixer module, just like in modulars.
