Add another fan here, I have the full set. Keep them coming and I'll keep funding the heating bills. :)

  • You absolutely must read the rating on the app description. I am now forever a fan of your apps, sir.

This is the spirit and the ingenuity and the fun of iOS right here.

Oh. And a real potential for personal injury.

A beautiful combination, I sign up to this willingly.

Give me these releases over much hyped big ticket stuff every day.

Not to say the headliners don't have their merits but I just love supporting the indie guys with a vision. And the more bonkers they are the better. ;)

  • Thank you!
To be perfectly honest, I prefer your "cut down" versions to the "full fledged" versions of the apps. They are more intuitive and lead to getting something going much quicker.
    Thanks again.

question: lala only accepts line/mic input, right? you cant use it as effect in ab3 etc? i tried and just hear a long sine tone that indicates it's not working.
ps rly liked your stuff in soundcloud!

  • edit: nvrmind, it does work as an fx, too, and i love it so much yes.

  • @ashshaoshDaa
    "...and strong sincere prayer." Ha!

Thanks for these wonderful effects! Lot's of very cool sounds to be had.

One thing: both ZhSh and lalalab seem to suffer from the iPhone 6S sample rate issue. i.e. playing through the built-in speaker, the 6S is locked to 48KHz. If an app is expecting 44.1 it will create distortion (and not the good kind). Plugging in headphones fixes that issue. I'm seeing that on both lalalab and ZhSh: distorted audio

BTW, I'd be happy to help test this. I'll PM you my TestFlight info.

  • Hey, I just ran into some mention of Deregulator and Lalalab on some articles, and found this thread, but I am unable to find the apps on the store. The developer name isn't searchable either :( Are these apps gone, now?

    Unfortunately. They were absolutely CRAZY!

  • Yeah - they were nuts... Too bad he gave up development

  • He may be coming back to the game...
Read a post this weekend on his facebook
    Let's hope

  • Yeah, my old iPad is not being updated for self a fuzz and all his apps. I think they are the most circuit bendy distortions and well all of it. I honestly thought he may have broken someones speakers as the feedback really could! That was my hypothesis on why they are banned from US....

  • Self-A-Fuzz was just brilliant insanity. I miss that app - would love to see it as an AUv3 for sure.

The others were fun but it was Self-A-Fuzz that sold me on his apps. The interface was bizarro and it did have quite a learning curve so you didn't blow out your eardrums, but it was a good time.

  • Nice guy, and great apps. Hope he returns to developing his own brand of sonic insanity.

  • So I have a question? I had downloaded all of his apps a long time ago but now that they are back on the AppStore they say they are for sale? I’m by no means a penny pincher when it comes to purchases but as of lately I’m pretty broke. So are they for sale or if I hit the download button will it say I’ve already purchased would I like to download again? Just wondering. I love these apps and was pretty bummed when they were removed. Thanks.

In my case, I could download the apps again for free. Pretty happy.

Could it be that you originally purchased them under a different account?

  • No definitely not but it does say .99 for the purchase. I just changed jobs and paid rent so money is The tightest it’s been in forever. I literally have a buck in my account. 😕 I love those apps so beingnthat im a serious appaholic im going for it anyways. I wasn’t able to locate them in my purchased apps list? They were on my old air 2 before I purchased my 11”? Maybe that has something to do with it? Thank you guys. Appreciate it.

  • Crazy. I saw the apps earlier in the AppStore and now it’s saying that they’re nit available in the US store? Bogus.

The same thing happens with vstomp hd on the french app store.

  • This is really weird. Two days ago, I wanted to reinstall Deregulator and Self-A-Fuzz and the AppStore told me that the apps were no longer available and were permanently deleted.

Last night, I checked again, the apps were there, with a price and not the cloud symbol, and could be installed again. I did, was asked if I wanted to reinstall for free, clicked yes and there they were.

Now I check again and again the apps are not available in my region.

Very, very strange. If this doesn’t scream ‘Russian interference’ I don’t know what does😱

  • This happened to me as well? I’m bummed.
