Gadget not showing in AudioBus Output dropdown.
Beginner question. Am I doing something wrong?
While using MIDI apps like Thumbjam, I want to have access to Gadget transports (like pause play record undo) from the dock. It just ruins my workflow to have to switch apps just to press records.
But, I can't find Gadget in Audiobus' Output dropdown list.
I use AudioBus 2.3.8 and Gadget 2.

Comments
Gadget is only available in the Audio Input slot.
When loaded in Audiobus, you can switch back and forth with Gadget easier, but you get a Play button in Audiobus, no Record button.
Also, in Audiobus, Gadget is in the K section of the app list, as Korg Gadget.
Thank you! I was hoping for a Pause and Record shortcut in the dock.
Do you know if Nanostudio2 supports that?
It does, if you have the sample recording window open in NS2.
Unfortunately Gadget only exposes the play/stop button in the Audiobus toolbar. Do you have a midi controller? If so, you can midi-learn the play and record buttons in Gadget. Maybe that would help?
I think you mean, can NanoStudio 2 give you a way to start/stop/record Gadget. If so, then the answer is no. @Shabudua was referring to start/stop/record of NS2 from Audiobus. If thats what you meant, then that’s correct.
Thanks. I'm thinking of switching to NS2 for unlimited recording lengths.
I didn't know you could MIDI map transports buttons in Gadget, useful info, thank you for the help!
