Evolving/Interpolating/Morphing Drum Patterns?
Is there an app, combination of apps, or other process by which you could take one drum pattern and over time gradually become another drum pattern?
For example, lets say I set up a drum sequence/pattern A. And I also set up another drum pattern B.
Over time, let's say over 2 minutes, I want drum pattern A to loop... but also over the course of 2 mins gradually morph/interpolate into a completely different drum pattern B.
For added fun, I'd like to also designate some of the beats to have probability assigned.
So, I start with a defined drum pattern A that also has some probability dialed in. I let that loop for 2 minutes while it gradually interpolates/morphs (not crossfade) until it becomes my second drum pattern B that also has some probability dialed in and continues to loop from there.
Is this already possible with something within @brambos Rozeta or possibly a Mozaic script?

Not sure of automatically fading between two, but you could manually do this in something like Patterning2 I think. Song mode with
A1, A2, A3, etc until you get to B. Subsets of A would be the variations and morphs into B. And I think Patterning has probability per step.
Yamaha YMMS has some interesting drum permutation features ...
Could you have two drum sequences running through two separate instances of Caility, one starting at 0% probability the other at 100% and gradually automate those values in opposite directions?
How much control do you want?
Axon 2 could work here: since it works based on cascading trigger counting and thresholds, you can change the threshold of a node (with a drawn CC curve, slow LFO, or, since the threshold values are discrete, you could use notes) that is sending triggers to a couple of other nodes and have the pattern change drastically (or subtlety) as the count changes. This works even better if you have a couple of Axons running at the same time with different configurations that you are both controlling.
But to the question above, Axon isn't great for programming specific beats, it's better at creating happy accidents. If you want to get from a defined beat to another defined beat you'll probably give up in frustration.
Axon is purely deterministic - there's no randomness or probability involved. But you could route the MIDI to a probability gate (Art Kerns midiFILTr-PG or Mozaic scripts) to get that functionality.
Otherwise, song mode in Pattering or Elastic Drums could approximate what you're after. Or any other type of "meta-sequencing"
This in conjunction with probability is what you might want. Octachron also supports probability and polyrhythms. You take a pattern and make copies of it that remove elements across bars.
I'm using Octachron polyrhythms and velocity to change sounds and patterns here.
Yeah, I actually started with Octachron with my first attempts. Manually setting up each sequence, copy/paste to the next pattern, add probability to each, then gradually get to a new sequence... it cool and it's very close. Easy to do also.
However, what I'm thinking of is sort of a cross/hybrid between manually setting up A/B sequences, adding some probabilty, and then something sort of generative/interpolating to get from A to B.
I'm not sure if "interpolating" is the right word for this. In animation you can "tween" between frames. When resizing an image the software "interpolates" from the smaller size up to what it thinks goes between the pixels up to the larger size. Maybe "morph" is a better word to use.
@funjunkie27 , where are you to make suggestions on using Different Drummer for this?
I would think you could set up some long wave cycles, or something.
Yeah @skiphunt A generative drum sequencer could be cool. Maybe using multiple instances of Autony for individual sounds.

This topic inspired to have a go with my own suggestion and it actually works pretty well. Here’s an example in AudioBus with Cality and Rozeta and Ruismaker, I kept it simple so it could be shared.
Edit: Ok I was able to upload a zip. @skiphunt give that a try if you can. I think it is pretty close to what you asked for.
Automating Cality turns out to be really useful, thanks to the suggestion from @pagefall in another thread. Thinking I’m going to be exploring this technique for morphing between midi sequences a lot.
Not sure about the upload... but I did note to self that your idea sounded interesting. Looking forward to hearing how it worked out.
I made a quick little toon using this technique for several instruments.
The nice thing about using Cality is that you can mess with swing and velocity and lots of other parameters as well.
Probably hard to hear where it morphs between different midi tracks but I think it turned out quite well.
This should be possible in MiDigenerator I think.
