No new apps lately?

My appaholism is craving something new, and the Drambo dream recedes ever further into the distance. Surely there’s something new to while away the time? There doesn’t seem to have been anything good released for a few weeks, after a first six to the year months that was brimming with lovely new releases. Anything on the horizon, apart from Drambo, which has been on the horizon for as long as I can remember?

  • I feel like a drug addict waiting on something lately. I wish I could get over it and just make some music. I have a feeling toneboosters will come out with something soon though. The developer that does the auv3 drum machine emulators is working on a new drum machine that looks more like beathawk and is sample based but I don’t know how long that one will be

Hmm these last few weeks are the first time I’ve bought multiple new apps for a while. Feels like the opposite here!

Ha! First time in a while I’ve let my bank account be safe.

I know what you mean. But still - I want a nice shiny new app 😇

I will admit these were the TB and Eventide stuff and some beathawk packs. Hasn’t been many synths/samplers/etc released lately

  • If I was a developer, I wouldn't release a new app while iPadOS / iOS13 is still in the mid-late beta stages.

  • Mozaic is a new app everyday. Stop buying gear and make some music/noise :p

  • Waiting for Animoog AU

  • No new apps, just updates please...

    Huh? Dream or reality?

  • Have you all heard about that new app that is supposed to make writing music a lot easier. It’s supposed to be coming out really soon...i forget the name of it...but i think it’s by a big name brand and it should totally revolutionize how we make music while on the go, riding a bus and sitting on our thrones.

Anyway...it was just something i overheard while dozing off in 280 traffic this evening 🤪

  • I’ve been spending more time digging deeper into the apps I’ve already got and keeping some of them up to date with IAPs but sure I fell for TB, Eventide and FF and a few 4P...

Mostly looking forward to Drambo and updates to existing apps :)

I had a dream last week that it would be released by the end of this year

  • @audio_DT, Poly 2 out in a few weeks, EG Drummer next month hopefully. Drambo 2019!

There is always something on the horizon.

Hmm, what's Poly 2, care to leak?

From what I gather @Samu it’s a updated version of Poly a ripple style sequencer and midi controller that been around donkey years was very popular when it first came out. I kept it in my iPad. There a few on the AB forum that have been beta testing.

Here DJ Puzzle shows off the original. I hope the update is AU.

  • I feel the exact opposite in terms of new releases. In the last few months we’ve had Sugar Bytes Factory, all the FabFilter stuff, three Eventide plugins, Xequence 2, Klevgränd Modley. Plus the update to Gadget. There’s enough to keep most folks busy for the rest of the year! :)

In the last few months I've splurged more than ever before on apps.

    Roxsyn
    X2
    Factory
    Eventide
    Toneboosters
    etc.

Sugarbytes sale made me buy all of their apps.

Well, at least the folks interested in "fingering their stuff" and making music :#

    I think that’s a good point. I’m on ipadOS - I like it but a few important music-making apps don’t work, e.g. pro q3, tubeAU, D1. Bit of a pain but they’ll arrive eventually.
