I don’t mind a reviewer having an opinion.
Many times they say they like an app for such and such a reason and it is something I would never have thought of.
I guess there’s room for both styles of presentation.
I can’t see what’s going on for the trippy backgrounds! ;-)

There is definitely room for both styles and much more.
It's a matter of preference.
Presenters such as Jakob and The Soundroomtest are the superstars of iOS
and when I see their presentations I appreciate them for that.
They are, in many respects, at the forefront of the iOS movement.
I've come across their presentations many a time looking for
information in regards to apps and their capabilities in the past.
It's good to see the iOS music platform grow.
If it wasn't for the music apps I wouldn't have invested in the platform at all.
As said above, room for all. Personality review like celebrity TV advert, endorsing product.
Many times, bought app because reviewer enthusiasm so big. Then not used app. 
So review that only show, not tell, perfect for me.
Great thing about YouTube is that there is always another channel. And if you think you can do better, there’s nothing to stop you trying.
The democratisation of content can be a good thing. But it can make it hard to hear the signal above the noise.
I like the to-the-pointness, as mentioned room for all, but I would like a little expository chatter, however monotone and lowkey etc.
