Apple smart enough to look at genius app and buy for Garage Band.

Actually, that is what Apple did with Alchemy and the process was very different. The developers disappeared, and the app disappeared too (before it appeared inside GarageBand.)

If that is what Apple planned for Samplr, I think that Samplr would have disappeared from the AppStore back when they hired the Samplr dev.

Alchemy made by company. Samplr by individual. Maybe situation different?

This is one of @jakoB_haQ’s most useful videos. Really lots of valuable info. I love the “strengths and weaknesses “ parts... It makes me wonder though, isn’t it just easier the work with say Sudio One or Bitwig where the sampler can do pretty much most of this stuff instead of the ol’ iOS hokey-pokey (this one’s for this.. This one’s for that” approach? ..

I use the thing I have in my pocket.

Jakob - why do you have "commercial breaks" in your videos?

Are you looking for real paid ads from developers or just a joke?

My videos are monetised and when those screens show up, adds are supposed to play. For some it doesn’t.

Some times it’s because of add-blockers, some times it’s because youtube won’t run adds for various reasons, and some times it’s because people have premium YouTube accounts, which turns of adds.
