Give developers time to update their apps to IOS 13 (IPadOs) before bug reports
Hi there guys, just a heads up.
Let’s wait for developers to update their apps to the current iOS before creating Threads about bugs.

Just to play Devil's advocate, but the Devs may not know about all the iOS 13 bugs if they're not reported...
Perhaps just dial down on the complaining and just state facts? :-)
Also, other people might like to know about which apps do and don't work with iOS 13 especially if they're either yet to update or want to purchase the app.
But getting angry at devs as their apps don't work with the new OS is a little unfair... at least wait a week or two ;-)
At the very least mention it in the title!
Seeing lots of xyz app is broken threads on the iOS places I visit lately. A few pages later the person will casually mention they are using a beta version of iOS
+1 We are a very useful resource to dev's, and should alert them to issues, in case they are not already aware of them. Also agree that this should be done in an informative way and not a negative way.
Definitely right on this one.
But I do believe most developers haVe beta testers.
I did made a post when IPadOs beta came out about issues with Cubasis, but then I thought I was not right because the app hasn’t been updated.
All I’m saying is, instead of fulling the forum with post like that, we should just wait till the6 update

And well, some complained about bugs in iOS13 when it was quite well known that iOS13.1 would fix them...
(I still see threads on FB where people complain about iOS13 when the 'bugs' they complain are already fixed in iOS13.1).
Seems almost like some people 'get off' by raising their voices or something?!
I don't have all my devices in two-fold, so I need to keep them on the current iOS for development purposes.
I'm not rich either, but I try to keep one device on stable, and use another on the beta... so in theory, two devices should suffice (not taking into account universal apps of course...).
Sure, but why should I have to invest in duplicate devices when Apple decide to break stuff? After the final release I fix any issues as soon as possible. Everyone who thinks that's not fast enoughcan direct their discontent at the guys in Cupertino as far as I'm concerned.
Ofcourse it's mostly hypothetical since I haven't had upgrade issues with my apps since iOS9...

Guys not everyone one has the luxury of having multiple I devices.
Some developers have just one and might prefer to be on a stable release so they can fix bugs with the stable OS.

Bugs don't always get squashed during the Beta.
In the short time I've been using iPadOS 13.1, auv3s are behaving very differently in NS2 for example, with no updates to NS2 or the plug-ins.
Plug-ins that didn't work now do, plug-ins that did work now don't.
There's a lot to test and a lot of different setups and combinations of auv3s to use. Developers can't test all of them and neither can the Beta test teams.
As long as everybody is respectful and doesn't try and apportion blame, I can't see the harm in discussing these things on a discussion forum ;-)
I won't wait for Native instruments
Developers of iOS music apps rarely have the resources for adequate beta testing (particularly true of apps with lots of functions).
Developers can't fix bugs they don't know about.
It is always a good idea (even when running a beta os) to report bugs to a dev --with their preferred contact method (which isually isn't the AB forum). That lets them know what problems to look into .
People often don't report bugs because they assume someone else will report it and the dev remains ignorant of it.
