Modstep question - Copy/move a pattern (Solved)

Hi

I know how to copy/move a pattern inside a clip, but is it possible to copy/move a pattern to another clip on the same track or to copy/move it to a clip on another track?

    You can help yourself by tapping "?" then tap on a clip.
    Hit Edit, tap the copy symbol and drag-drop a clip to another position.
    Don't be surprised if the destination clip appears to be created but empty, it's due to Modstep's unusual separation of keyboard vs drum clip. Select the seemingly empty clip, switch to the piano roll (keyboard symbol) and switch between key vs drum mode, then the notes will magically reappear :D

    Not sure what you mean with clip compared to pattern.
    That patterns / clips that can be triggered to pay, can easily be dragged to another track.
    Just enter "edit" mode and select the pen. After that, you can drag things around, or copied when selecting the copy icon.

    So what I’m trying to do, is to select a pattern inside a clip and copy it into another clip :)

    I tried doing this by hitting edit and copy, selecting a pattern and then selecting the target clip by using:

    And then tapping on the desired target pattern. But it didn’t work.

    Why so complicated?
    Enable Edit > Copy symbol and just drag and drop the pattern to another slot.
    No arrows needed :)

    I thought, i wrote that above (EDIT: Did not notice your first reply)
    But i am still confused about clips and patterns and may misunderstand.

    Years ago (when Modstep still ran on an iPad 1) I was in touch with the developer and yes, he does have his own way of thinking ;)

    Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but I don’t see how I can drag a pattern from a clip and drop it into a pattern in another clip.

    Example:

    I have clip 2-2 and clip 2-3:

    In clip 2-2 I would like to Copy pattern 7:

    To pattern 5 in clip 2-3:

    If I try to drag pattern 7, then how do I switch to clip 2-3 where I want to drop it into pattern 5?

    In the Step sequencer In clip 2-2 I can drag pattern 7:

    Press the down arrow while holding the pattern:

    And then drop pattern 7 into pattern 5 in clip 2-3:
