iPad 6th Generation / thoughts, feedback
Time for me to replace my dying iPad mini. Cracked the screen and it’s starting to malfunction.
The 6th generation seems to be a massively good deal. Would I be able to run current apps happily?

You will find the iPad6th gen a massive improvement. They offer a lot of bang for the buck and are quite similar in performance to yhe first gen iPad Pro.
Went from a mini 2 to the iPad 6th gen last year when they had some good Black Friday prices going on. The deal was just to good to pass up.. whatever I saved (and then some 🙂) got spent on apps + hardware.. Bought the 6th gen + Arturia BeatStep Pro + KeyStep for the price of an iPad pro and I couldn’t be happier.. so far it’s kept up to everything I’ve been throwing at it.. it was a huge jump up from my mini 2 (locked at iOS 11) which I still have..
It's my only iPad and I've used it for everything from music to school.
Combined with the Amazon Fintie keyboard and a Logitech crayon, it's my budget iPad Pro.
2gb RAM v. 4gb.... no brainer, IMO. Used 256 Pro2 plus bonus hp jack.... what, $5-600?
I moved from Air2 64Gb to 6th gen 32gb and the performance boost was noticeable.
But I had to downgrade again to Air2 cause the lack of storage .
Then I realized the 6th gen was much faster
Thanks all. I'll see if I can find a used one first.
Found a great deal on a 128gb with a case! Now the wait ...
good choice! ive been rocking my gen 6 since January and sure, it chokes under some of my more adventurous AUM sessions, but it can handle damn near anything I throw at it.
Again thanks to you for the advice. Got it and it is a beast. Yeah!
