Is this old news?
How do get a blank project?

It's not AUv3 yet but it's great in standalone or in AudioBus... pipe it into any DAW from there. It has a Virtual MIDI In port so you can point generators at it or use it's internal sequencer.
DISCOUNTED INTRO PRICE... act now. You want a TB-x0x right? I know I didn't but it sounds amazing.
Looks awesome, but I am saving my beans for Jazz Drummer.
I think I would get more immediate use from that one.
Wish I was rich, but oh well.
X2
Not even 10pm on the west coast and I’m only one left to praise Pure Acid? Come on Hawaii, work with me!
Hawaii here (Kauai). Busy playing with PA. Blown away!
I agree, very impressed.😁
I love Kauai!
🤙🏻
there is "init" preset
bought it, love it, need a manual, but slowly figuring most stuff out on my own. I suppose I should go check soundtestroom. He's prolly already done a tutorial...lol. Gotta love Doug. ...App Encyclopedia he must be. Now sounding like Yoda I am. Posting I now must.
I tried PA in AUM but it clipped the audio outputs big time and refused to work with AUM meters clipping like crazy but with no sound from the iPhone speakers after the nasty blip on startup (on an up to date iPhone 11).
i restarted the iPhone tried again and the same thing happened again. I load it as an IAA and the overloads in AUM light up and there's a loud blip then no sound.
I am going to just shelve this until the auv3 is released anyway as I don't like the sequencer at all. I have a bit of an irrational dislike of apps that pretend too hard to be hardware with all the artificial limitations that imposes on the UI. But I'm clearly in the minority here so I'm not going to complain, I'll just use it with different sequencers once it goes auv3. :-)
Giving your opinion, positive or negative, is always appreciated in the way you bring it. And about the clipping, same here on a iPhone XS Max with IOS 13.2.2.
Yes. It worked. But then I touched the distortion knob and it clipped AUM like crazy again, made a horrible click sound and went silent with flashing overload lights going crazy still.
I am just going to wait for the auv3. It has tried to pop my speakers once too often, I'm not going to try again.
Interesting. I'm not having any problems on my Air 1 with 12.4.2 with Optimal buffer. Wonder if its an iOS 13 thing?
Holy clown... just noticed the “render audio” option in the Pure Acid’s Utilities menu in settings. Exports one loop of whatever settings are at. If just drums are wanted, turning down volume on bass will achieve that, or vice versa. (I had been doing IAA with Koala, and trying the record a sync’d loop... was imprecise and slow. The rendering and exporting directly to Koala means one can have up to 64 loops to play on a keyboard while running them thru Koala’s krazy fx. The possumbilities! The mind boggles... 😄).
Did you try lowering PA's output volume? There is a master volume fader in PA and volume controls for the bass and drum components.
Good shout, the solo button (mixer page) will isolate your sound as well.

Great news! Bad one is I have no time to test it in before friday. So It's interesting to hear what is main advantage of PA over Troublemaker and let's say Ruismaker? Or what do you using for classic acid stuff?
It’s awesome. Now let’s lock this thread and get back to the main one 😉
Good idea @espiegel123 - closing this one as a dupe of https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/34910/pure-acid-by-jim-audio-this-is-the-best-news-ever
