question about recording mono versus stereo in Auria Pro
I'm in the early stages of learning Auria Pro; earlier today I recorded a mono vocal recording on a track. Later, I recorded some more on the track but now it's recording in stereo. Don't know how this happened. How do I change it back to mono recording? If I look at input options, I just see 1/2, 3/4 and Master.

Comments
@LeesKeys Did you put a stereo effect on the vocal track? Sounds like what has happened. Try taking the effect off and see what you have.
Well I exercised the nuclear option 🚀and deleted the track, then recorded a new one. But next time it happens I'll remember that. Very much riding the Auria learning curve🦽
You could probably have copied the mono audio clip to a new track so you wouldn’t have to re-record it. Moving clips between tracks is easy in Auria.
True
Just make sure to only add mono effects to mono tracks and everything should be OK. If you need a stereo effect, such as a delay, route the track to a subgroup or into a stereo track and add the stereo effect there.
