Black Friday: Let's say you have € 30 to spend, which app would you buy?

Black Friday is coming, so I'd like to know which music app you would buy for € 30:

One (and only one) that you don't already have
and
one (and only one) that you would buy back without hesitation.
Cheers

PS: by chance I have € 30 to spend...

  • Sugar Bytes’ Factory would be my choice. It’s my next ‘to buy on a sale’ synth (I’m a poor, otherwise I’d buy it now) :)

  • Something from fabfilter probably. I’d like to finish up the suite. Probably the compressor cos I have the eqs and limiter already

  • If I had 30 quid I was happy to throw at an app? PPG Infinite! Whether I could afford the hours figuring it out is a different matter.

Buy again? AUM or Thor or Factory, hmm..

  • Probably a few of the toneboosters apps. Or a couple of Eventides.

  • One and only one!
I’m not contributing because the terms were too strict but I couldn’t live without Audiobus 3.

Actually I gave you two choices. I am a magnanimous guy

That'll be Drambo once it's released.

one (and only one) that you would buy back without hesitation.

Buy again without hesitation you mean? It would be Nanostudio 2 without hesitation. I've never completed more tracks in any other app than I have in NS2. My second choice would've been Groove Rider GR-16, but since it's one and only one - NS2. Cheers. :)

  • With no other apps to my name? Knowing what I know now? NanoStudio 2

  • I don’t have any of the Eventides, so they’d be on my list. Probably the new acid thing as well.

£30 for stuff I already have? AUM and Spacecraft. I could do a whole album with just those two, probably have already as it happens.

  • NanoStudio 2 or SugarBytes Aparillo

    Poly 2
Maybe Gesturement Pro, but it scares me.... looks music theory-y (or is it?).

(neither of which seem to be on sale... ...yeti!)

One (and only one) that you don't already have
Jazz Drummer (drops on Black Friday - price un-disclosed... could be $18)

One (and only one) that you would buy back without hesitation
Mosaic (the app that keeps paying dividends as new user installable scripts are created/posted at PatchStorage

  • I’ve been eyeing ChordPolyPad to give me an extra set of ‘hands’ for live. It pretty much never goes on sale so I’m not even sure why I’m holding out.

  • NS2 and NS2 IAP’s

  • Waiting for drambo might be a good choice if it comes out this year. That app looks incredible.

  • Let’s say you HAD $30...

Regional differences can account for variations in the protasis of conditional sentences.

Regional differences can account for variations in the protasis of conditional sentences.

However, it's crucial that the second part of such a sentence (the apodosis of the conditional) normally also has a modal preterite, often would or could or might, but not will or can or may.

Don’t be afraid of Gestrument Pro!

It’s one of the first apps I will show people who have never used an iPad for music before.

You can do very powerful things if you want customisation but the included library has lots of great patches. These display a text box describing what’s happening in the setup and give recommended finger techniques.

You either didn’t get my joke or you just told a better one...? 🙂

I have no problem with the ‘iPad for music’ part. This appstore screenshot just made me think this could be another ‘Different Drummer’ and get me in over my music theory head (rules? Rules are for squares maaaan) or TC-Data and get me in over my midi head.

Although maybe I am a bit taller now...
