I really like modulation effects in IFX Rack. They don't have "digital metallic" kind of sound other effects can sometime have.

Swoopster: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/swoopster-fuzz-flanger-effects-processor/id736436952 It’s not AU and the Holderness apps seem abandoned, sadly, but it still works. It’s got a really cool function where you can have different effects on each side or link the two. It also has fuzz.
QuatroMod: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/quatromod/id1268360218 Everything by AudioDamage is at least solid; this one doesn’t get as nuts as I would like, but it covers lots of bases quite well. It’s definitely the flanger that gets the most use.
Foxglove Flanger: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/foxglove-flanger/id1300412261 This one’s as basic as it gets but has that old Boss pedal sound, if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s rare that I am, but it does that trick nicely.
All the amp/fx modeling apps have decent phasers and flangers, and Bias FX: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bias-fx-guitar-amp-effects/id937685528 even has the MoogerFooger phaser modeled. I have a real one (it lives up the hype) and this is a really good emulation.
I haven’t tried ReelBus for flanging, but I love that app and definitely going to give that a whirl.
Svep is really great, and so is DLYM. I definitely recommend each. And I love PhaseThree. Also wish that it got crazier, but it sounds really sweet.
It’s really a shame that Ultraphaser isn’t in the store anymore, though; that’s my favorite iOS phaser.
We also really need more Tremolo options...
apeMatrix with its LFOs can help!

Those are indeed cool, but I don’t miss them in AUM given there are enough alternatives for my purposes.
Effectrix and Turnado have flangers and phasers.
I get some really fabulous retro phasing & flanging from GyroVibe. It’s auV3, free, and very psychedelic.
