Korg iM1 leslie effect?
Korg iM1, Rotary effect. Can this effect be modified to switch via pedal between slow and fast leslie? OR is there an AU effect leslie simulation app? OR could the signal from iM1 be sent to Galileo, just to the Rotary effect module?

Comments
Okay, since no one else has commented yet, I’ll give it a shot.
With a little tweaking I found 4Pockets Filter Morph FX can give a decent Leslie effect.
Change the mod effect from vibrato to pan, mod amount to 100% and adjust the mod speed dial to the speed desired. It’s a pretty good auto pan effect that sounds similar to a Leslie.
I looked at my Galileo’s 1 and 2.. Correct me if I’m wrong but only Galileo 1 shows in the FX slot and it’s IAA.
Also, ElasticFX (IAA) does an good auto pan that sounds convincing.
Just curious @LeesKeys - are you asking because you don't like the Leslie FX in Galileo? And do you mean Galileo I or II?
I have Galileo II ...and like it's Leslie effect
OK. Unfortunately Galileo II doesn't have a way to send external audio through its FX unit like Galileo I did.
Tonestack, also by Yonac, has an amp model that may or may not be similar:
for what it's work the actual documentation says the iM1's rotary effect should be switchable between fast/slow by CC76 on the global MIDI channel, although I can't seem to get it to work when I try it
Any luck with this? I’ve also been unable to get iM1 to respond to a cc76 message
I don’t mind the 4pockets effect it’s usually sufficient for what I need. You may be able to use that or something else in combo with the binaural effect from the guys that used to go by blue mangoo, they recently changed, but you can use that for the spatial effect I’m sure
so I got curious today after playing with the new Triton VST and trying to figure it out, because I could never get it to work in the KLC version of M1 either. after digging around some English and Japanese forums both, with just everyone complaining that it doesnt work on CC76 like the documentation says, I found one post in Japanese that solves it
i still dont about the CC76 (the manuals both say they are for when its a MFX in Combi mode so maybe something with that), but as an IFX and MFX both it does respond to CC92?? and seems to respond to CC92 when you have a rotary both as IFX and MFX setting.
works in iM1 itself, anyway. doesnt seem to work in Gadget, but maybe that's taking CC92 for something else
(and apparently according to the original M1 manual, it was an even stranger switch on the real hardware, taking over the wet/dry mix setting instead)
There’s also a nice Leslie in Rotary Mod by Eventide...as usual, very good but expensive.
I have Eventide's app and don't care for it. Yes it does create an effect but it's not convincing, especially in fast mode. I've found the best external option is the Leslie cabinet available in Tonestack. Still, it's only IAA not AUV3, so if you want to set it an AUM file with more than one iM1 organ patch, it can't be done.
