What apps can sequence a chord progression to use in AUM?

I'm looking for an app to use in AUM to control synth apps where I can program it to play certain chord progressions without me actually playing chords on a keyboard. I want to just be able to sequence chords and just tell it to play Am then C maj then Em etc.

Rozeta Cells. I do it all the time. Combine with rhythm bud.
I compose the chord progression in ChordPolyPad, and them record the chords into Cells.
I highly recommend Navichord. It has Ableton Link and it even has a built in keyboard too so you can do a melody while Navichord sends your chords.
Just picked up Tonality - and using it for just that - playing chord progressions. Works great!

I'm a Rozeta Cells man, myself.
I actually own the Rozeta suite but haven't really explored Cells. You have have to play chords in the keyboard to program it correct? There doesn't seem to be a way to just chose chords automatically
That's correct. You arm a cell, record a chord, rinse and repeat. Would be handy if it had one or two more slower clock divisions but usually works for me. Can also trigger the chords manually by touching the cells ala casiotone single finger chords.

So many options... I've collected so many apps that I don't even know where to start now. I need to dig into some of these. I've barely dabbled with Rozeta so far.
I was looking at this. Seems interesting. Does it automatically play back sequenced chords or do you have to play the pads live?
You can sequence playback by sending a midi note to each pad! So set up C1 to play pad 1, and so on. Easy peasy

Thanks. I think I'll try it out. I've been using Circle of Fifths app for a while for chord progression and Tonality seems like it does everything that does and much more
I have StepPolyArp and I love it but it doesn't seem to do what I want for chords or I'm too dumb to figure it out. I love that it does divided steps and conditional steps and stuff to make interesting sequences

Also if you have StepBud and run it through ScaleBud you can check out chord progressions.
Yes StepBud has a chords option but it's easier for me to change keys and the chords in ScaleBud. I don't have to fiddle with the sliders, which can be hard to quickly rearrange. And I can quickly change the complexity of the chords in ScaleBud from triads to more complicated 7ths 9ths and 13ths.
The only drawback being it changes the complexity for all the steps.
Hmmm... now that I think about it I could route StepBud through ScaleBud and then take each separate step into different ScaleBuds since its AU.
I got Tonality and combined with StepPolyArp is exactly what I wanted and both are AUv3

chord suggester can do this. It also has Ableton Link.
While the interface is a little primitive in some regards, for sequencing chords it's the best tool that I know of. Supports a huge range of chords, voicings, inversions, drop notes options and even stuff like pedal tones. And the suggestion functionality is actually pretty good.
All the options I know of are limited in ways that make them kind of useless for my usecases. Navichord is good, but has quite a limited set of chords, doesn't support drop notes (e.g. if you want to play a G9 and drop the 5, which is pretty common). But if your harmony needs are fairly basic, it's good for progressions.
Tonaly also can do chord progressions (Tonality can't as far as I can tell), but it's quick irritating to use if you want to go beyond simple diatonic stuff, inversions, etc. And more limited than Navichord.
The step bud and scale bud thing sounds interesting though. Might check that out.

Suggester give you lots of ideas to make your chord progressions and then lets you export that in midi and wav files. Its Auv3 aswell. I use that and Rosetta cells of course. But I guess there's lots of apps that can do the same.
@Vlad11 - you can play chord progressions in realtime from Suggester now. TBH - I've not found any tool that can do what Suggester can (which is a shame, as plenty of tools have nicer GUIs).
Mitch’s Nuggets-of-Knowledge to the rescue.. I use step input in Atom all the time for chords.. much more than I ever thought I would.. to me it’s just quicker.. I’m already poking around on the keyboard anyway..
