    Saw him perform in Brooklyn a show where a film made for his latest record, "Volume," was screened. The show was billed as Allesandro Cortini's Volume, and you would assume he would be there with his gear. It felt at first like a bit of a ripoff. The videos were really "first project out of art school," but it totally worked. Volume is an amazing piece of music, and it really helps to listen to it LOUD.
