AudioLayer Zenbeats compatibility- does it crackle like Beathawk?

Hello!

Beathawk produces crackling in Zenbeats, I am wondering if it is caused by the streaming of samples directly from disk rather than loading them into memory?

Can anyone with AudioLayer tell me if it works within the latest Zenbeats without crackling?

Thank you so much!!

BeatHawk in other hosts is reliable imo and relatively easy on the CPU. Have you tried adjusting Zenbeats' buffers?

What hardware and OS version are you running?

Are you having issues with only BeatHawk in your project?

Yeah I normally love Beathawk but no matter how I shift the zenbeats buffers it keeps crackling. Pretty frustrating a lot of plugins experience weird crackling within zenbeats that don’t do this in other environments

Have you loaded AudioLayer into zenbeats? Wondering if it produces the same error

I don't use zenbeats. What hardware and OS are you using?

If Zenbeats has configurable buffers have you tried adjusting them?

Yes it does have configurable buffers and I have tried shifting them extensively

I’m on the latest os on an iPhone XS Max

So so strange... it only seems to effect certain samples within Beathawk(can’t seem to figure out why) and is worse if internal reverb or delay are active, if they are deactivated is is less bad but still quite present- here’s a strange bit...when the song is exported the crackling is not there...only when composing/playing back from timeline within Zenbeats

The crackling also gets weird if low pass or high pass are active

Is there any way to complete disable/bypass the internal fx within Beathawk such that the output signal does not pass though the FX chain at all?

Try the opposite. Add more FX to the same track, and try adding more tracks with BeatHawk.

I’m not sure what you mean...why would that help?

Do you mean add more instances of Beathawk in zenbeats or do you mean creating sequencer tracks within Beathawk?
