Are any of you beta folk using midi controllers to do stuff with The Drambist of Bo’s? If so, what and how?

The known beta testers are also some of the best experts on the forum.
Waiting until an App is finished to the satisfaction of the developer only hurts the developer really since income is deferred in the interest of ratified users.
No villains here. But waiting to unwrap the gift without any know date is just a test of character: what the psychologists call Emotional Quotient (EQ). This is a test and some are
acting out like someone did them wrong.
Software estimation on schedules in not a science... it's more like telling fortunes.
It's impressing the beta testers as a wonderful tool. I'm sure it will be well received.
Having the feature list locked down is a very good sign.
We need some distractions. Let's obsess over NS2 audio clues for a month maybe.
Or even NAMM hardware we want to see emulated in an IOS app. The Korg Wavestate
sound like a good candidate. Who doesn't love waiting on Korg to do something new?

Meet Purcussa SSP ! now this is droolworthy. It’s like a hardware version of Drambo, with DSP close to as powerful as a late model iPad, in the form of a eurorack module. It could be the one and only module you’d ever need — an extensive modular synth within a module, with 24 channels of bi-directional 32/192k audio over USB.
I see the point that you can’t save patches on the analog gear, BUT now a days you can do something you couldn’t do in the 70’s. Just record all the noodling on to a digital track and then chop it up and use it whenever you want. Commit to digital audio and move on.
I think you are compressing the time periods somewhat.
The age of the big modulars was the early to mid 70s. The DX7 came out in 83.
People bought the DX7 because it was cheap (compared to a Jupiter 8 - which did have patch memories), it sounded different - and did decent emulations of electric pianos and organs - and, most importantly, it stayed in tune.
Wasn't the lead line on Big Fun (1988) a DX7? Are you going to argue that KS and Derek May weren't Techno?
So he better hadn't announced Drambo at all?
I'm sure @giku_beepstreet knows very well what he's doing. It's not his first app to release.
I wonder how many will purchase Drambo, play a bit with it and when the next exciting app is announced, discuss that one instead of making music with Drambo...
