I ended up buying the iPad Pro for the keyboard and speakers. I have a rule to buy as much storage as I can afford at time of purchase. (Tax refund is coming!). So, I got the 1TB model to get the 6GB of RAM.
To swing this I had to buy it for my wife. She's loving it as a replacement for a buggy and potentially virus loaded MacBook Air. They set it up and imported everything he needs.
And they taught her to use Face ID.
Does anyone know how to defeat "Face ID" for login? Just curious. If the new tax law doesn't give me the promised boost in my refund I'll get stuck with a huge credit card debt.

I wasn’t leaving anything out, you seemed to be making the claim that Berlin was responsible for techno which it wasn’t or that bigger is better, which isn’t necessarily the case either.
X-ray is pure Detroit techno (Perhaps the purest sound of the techno style) from which the European sound developed, yes before Detroit there was all sorts of influence from Disco to P-Funk and European synth acts such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode and Gary Numan amongst others however without the start of “Detroit Techno” the rest of the genre would not exist in the form that it currently does.
My point in posting the two videos was to illustrate that while DM was part of the birth of Techno, most of Europe and Sven Väth in particular was at best still making pop dance records.
You can enjoy whichever branch of the musical tree appeals to you of course but please don’t try and rewrite history and dismiss the work and originality of a group of artists who created a scene, it’s happened too many times before.

I think you’ll find Techno was big before that, you’re forgetting the whole acid and post acid rave/techno scene in the U.K. as well.
When Love Parade started in 1989 there was an attendance of 150 people whilst in the U.K. events such as Sunrise on the 24th June 1989 had an attendance of 11000 people.
This wasn’t unusual at time, as large raves were a regular thing at this point with DJ’s playing Techno, House, Acid and early Hardcore.
