New Arturia 88 Controller at NAMM / $349/349 Eu
Had to pass this on. Comes with tremendous software (I think). Arturia guy says like you buy the software and get a free controller. Includes UVI piano, their V core software and more. Under 20 lbs! Hopefully they have worked on the QC issues that bugged their earlier flagship.

Yeah, @McD, I know about Arturia using a less than perf3ct Fatar action. However, not sure what action is used in this model. Also, not sure that the action in the similarly priced Alesis 88 is, but it may not be any better plus it doesn’t come with the huge collection of software. Caveat Emptor, as always.

@Daveypoo, I thought so, too. Especially with the software package. But I repeat myself.
As for actions, @McD, I am in action heaven the more I play this Casio PXS. I am so glad I didn’t spend more to get either Kawai RH3 or Grand Feel 1 in the MP series. It just is fun to play. Not too hard, not too light. Cannot recommend it more highly to you. Give it a test drive. Even the textured white keys, which were a turnoff at first, are perfectly adaptable. The 1000 is two Benjys cheaper but the 3000 has a better piano patch (stage piano) and is an arranger keyboard with three controllers and 700 sounds. Pretty good jazz rhythms. Haven’t tried World and Latin, but there are a lot. And aesthetically, when you auto dim the touch board lights, it is way cool and austere.
