@giku_beepstreet - it sounds like there is a slide function happening between the parameter triggers where it sort of ramps up in the FM operator video. So, (just as an example), if there are notes (or any other parameter) on step 1 (C2) and step 5 (B4), the note could ramp/bend up from step 1 to step 5. Is that right? I wonder, because I really like that functionality on my MachineDrum.

"Step sends" gate and CV signal to modular rack. If you add CV glide module and notes overlap, CV glide is generated.

If Drambo came out now we’d probably be at 150 pages in a couple hours.

Interesting, so this is one example of evaluating CV and "silently" taking into account the automatically routed gate signals?
And does CV glide work polyphonically? 🤤

  • Sockets are automatically connected, when you insert a new module. Routing remains real :) Yes CV glide module works with polyphonic signal so you can glide chords (however its bit tricky, because notes must be played in order)

  • So, Drambo still hasn’t been released. I’m literally so apathetic about this app I no longer want to buy it. I don’t even understand half the stuff being discussed here. It’s clearly not for me.

  • The same here, I never gonna buy this app.

Aaaaah sweeet. I'll happily arrange the notes in the required order 😍

The nice thing with a modular system is that you can keep it simple if you want, as opposed to most other apps that have a fixed structure with a fixed complexity.

  • Drambo is the name of several apps. As far as I remember, the first one was a simple drum machine.

I think you’ve won this thread. Well done, @drez

As about release date. Well, you know, I'm always wrong ;) At least its a time when I can say "the app is almost ready". I need yet to fix some bugs and improve a few small areas. I hope for xmass, I'm almost sure about 01.01.20.

Do you still hope to release Drambo for Xmass?

  • Expect Drambo for Christmas 202x

  • Last Christmas, I gave Drambo my heart. 💔

2 years and 200 pages later, it gave it away.

  • I firmly believe we’re just being trolled at this point.

That or the term “feature freeze” bears no meaning here.

Either way, quit your bitching. We all know you’re still gonna buy it.

It will be released when it is released. It is a work-in-progress and the dev reserves the right to not release it until it feels done to him.

I see what you’re saying, but honestly, the developer is the entire company here. If he wanted to feature freeze he would, or wouldn’t. If he doesn’t want to release the app because he wants to keep adding things, or in this case apparently, rewrite the thing a few times, then he can. There’s no deadline. A bunch of people crying for it in a thread has (and should have ) no bearing on releasing an app. The Dev should do that when they are ready, and for whatever reason. Obviously it’s not for the money or he probably would have just dropped it on the first iteration. The fact he’s rewritten it to hit a vision makes me feel really good because it means he’s super passionate about putting out something he’s proud of and can support and grow.

I do not understand why he would simply release it just because of a bunch of I WANTS IT folks. I think most people in here are having a good bit of fun and teasing just because it’s entertaining. I know I’ve had a good time reading posts and also learning a great deal along the way. I don’t see how that is a bad thing or Makes people not want to buy it.

Why would anybody want to buy an app that the developer isn’t ready to deliver?

    Answer: Take Cubasis 3.
