Rather simple this one...
Step 1:
Select all and copy Philowerx’s ‘complete list of AUv3 plugins’ I have copied to Pastebin here:

That sounds like a fun idea
I used a different random generator with numbers corresponding to the apps on my iPad currently. I repicked until I had three instruments and three fx.
I got the following:
Ape Filter
Degrader
AtomizerFX
Viking Synth
Continua (big surprise as I just bought it!)

Looks like I’m making synth drum sounds lol

That's quite an interesting combo. Thanks for posting your recipe, it might inspire others to try this particular blend.
Inspiration working so far. The limitations of six apps is really working for me.
Luckily Tera Synth is doing well on drum duties. @Spidericemidas sounds are blending well for a nice pad with AtomizerFX. Viking has the bass sound nailed. Degrader and ApeFilter are supplying dirt and umpff. Just got to get a decent lead sound going and I will start getting a few notes down
This is harder than I thought, but really enjoyable.
I’m really missing certain fx, such as reverb and compression. Yes, I have some of these in the music apps themselves, but then they are not in the chain where I want them to be!
Ape Filter is a god send and I’m glad for Degrader, as I like dirt.
Continua is quite resource hungry, so layers will have to be done after other layers are frozen, but this is the case for much of my music making on an Air2 now
Tera Synth is as good as I remember it, but it does have AUv3 issues, such as when choosing different option in open lists, those options are not viewable until actually clicked on!
Not sure what to think about AtomizerFX as yet. Not used it much so far. Seems to need to be dialled down for subtle options or it can sound a bit harsh and not in a nice way.
Forgot with being away from making music for a while how fun it can be, but there are still lots of niggling issues, such as: many AUv3s not transferring user presets between apps, power hungry spikes, continual freezing and unfreezing, the occasional odd settings not being saved within hosts etc etc.
It took 20 clicks to get one synth I own. Then it took a lot to get three effects. I got:

Rough Rider 3
I will come back later if I make something.
When I had fewer apps, I loved to do this kind of stuff

Yes, I’m making my drum sounds by the synths. I’ve got a kick, snare and hi hat so far - that’s going to be it for now!
Everybody seems to have forgotten that nice little idea, but hopefully we can revive it a little bit...

A little downtempo / ambient tune, put together in Cubasis 3 after it became kind of usable through the big update. I was seriously longing for some extra reverb here and there, but these were the rules...
with one little exception: I allowed myself to process it through a preset in Grand Finale.

To be honest, I got bored really quickly with only a few apps. It did help getting something started, just didn’t help keeping me entertained moving on with the idea. Will go listen to your tune now
