Been away for a few years, what's your top 3 audiounit FX?
Hi All, been away from iOS music apps for a few years now, but recently (tonight) booted up the iPad and thought I'd see what's new.
I've missed a lot, so wondering what are your top 3 audiounit FX from the last 2 years?
Thanks !!

Only 3, that’s a tough one! At the moment the ones I find myself using most are nembrini psa1000, Modley, Blackhole reverb.
Blackhole reverb, Replicant2, VoiceSynth (yeah a bit older but I still use it, mostly on percussion).
Like Frank’s, I put that s#%7 on everything.
Blackhole reverb, Effectrix, and Multitrack Audio Recorder.
Since I’m a guitarist, my choices atm are Nembrini Audio BST 100 and Analog Rack bundle, and Audio Damage Eos2. Nembrini amp is a great step forward in AUv3.
Everything by Toneboosters!
The fab's are AUv3 as well now too.
Kosmonaut, Audio Damage Phase Three, FAC Chorus. Alternatively, whichever of the Eventides most suits your needs or wants
Edit: I think all the ones I listed are 2 years+ old, so Eventide is the answer.

Thanks all, very helpful. I'm checking all these out now
I can't pick just three, lol. That's not fair.
I'm very fond of the FabFilter plugs, but they aren't universal unfortunately.
For universal plugs, ToneBoosters' plugs are really great, especially ReelBus, Barricade and their EQ. I like BarkFilter for that "secret sauce mastering trick" on Pop and EDM tracks, (although I make sure to use gainstaging to attenuate the incoming signal so as the mix doesn't become oversquashed by BarkFilter). DDMF's Magic Death Eye compressor is also quite excellent on the master buss for subtle transparent compression and is nice for Ambient.
And if you're working with recordings such as vocals, Brusfri is an excellent noise removal tool.
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
No shit... do you have a note from your doctor to explain the absences?
Reverb: ToneBoosters Reverb (covers so many use cases and sound great esp Shimmers $9)
EQ: Parametric Equalizer (fun to dial in a tone... like liquid Bass-Mid-High Knobs w Low/High Pass dials $6)
Creative Uses: Mozaic MIDI scripting environment with 130+ free scripts available in one download now $8)
With any extra any extra budget for apps:
Mononoke for ambient, Pure Acid for 808 Groove Box, Factory Synth come to mind.
Three isn’t possible for me
Audio Damage Enso and RE-1 by Kai Aras if you are into Fripperyronics and the like.
this is impossible 🤣
but most used audio effects....all auv3 except xequence 2 as it is a standalone midi sequncer / so much more

fugue machine
stepbud
StepPolyArp
rozeta LFO
