    The Pop Group certainly had a harder edge than the Clash. IIRC, critics of the time took both to task for different reasons: The Clash for their yob-ish self-mythologizing. The Pop Group for their humorless, pronouncements. I liked them both, but they inhabited different worlds for me.

    in the in the initial flurry of all those seven inchers turning up in those years i did get both Remote Control & Complete Control from the seedy underground market stall in manchester city centre.. but my tastes soon veered off into more esoteric sounds.. i was, after all, a spotty angst ridden teen myself with many a humourless/earnest moment to come.. one thing that really put me off the Clash vibe was a so called friend called Jonathon who was into Strummer big time, he persuaded me and another friend to have a fun weekend in Blackpool and then handily ‘forgot’ his wallet, i ended up paying his B&B bill and everything else for him over 3 days.. never got the money back and discovered after the fact how much all his Strummer bondage trousers and other Clash wannabe clothing cost from his Kings Road trips to the south..
    that line “ they got Burtons suits , you think its funny, turning rebellion into money “ always stuck in my throat as a deep hypocrisy on messrs Strummer and his ilks part . though, of course, they are not responsible for Jonathons dickheadedness.. probably! :)

    you are mistaken, a polite conversation with mr @ALB is far removed from trolling. my reminiscing is partially an explanation of my Clash allergy. newcomers ( youngsters?) like yrself might not quite ‘get’ the anecdote culture of this forum.. but calling someone a Troll definitely should be kept in reserve for occasions when it’s appropriate.

    I actually think the Pop Group were sonically interesting and perhaps ahead of their time in terms of pushing the envelope of listenability.

    44 new post triggered my feeling that Drambo has been released.. but no, 44 new post of no release.. I tell you, Drambo is as mystical as this Corona/Covid4/New Corona/Novak Corona, whatever.. Should I use my Lysol Disinfectant up in here.. No Lysol won’t kill Corona.. That was last month.. Now the CDC says it can kill it.. WTF.. Drambo and Corona are a pea in a pod..

    You are more likely to get struck by lightning that bounced off a crashing plane being piloted by a winning lottery ticket than catch Corona Virus, but it is still more likely than getting a copy of Drambo.

    Kind of kidding about the Pop Group, but I didn't listen to them at the time. But as with most seminal bands, if you weren't there at the time, it helps to have a great singer for latecomers. Gang of Four's "Entertainment!" was so important to me, but my kids are like, Huh. Same with me for the Pop Group, though it's pretty clear James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem liked them.

    The thread is so long i forget the half. Are we able to use AUv3 FX on each track. Means f.e. an own instance of extern, delay or reverb per track?
    And if the answer is yes, do we could use parameter locks for them too?

    the real interesting thing about this conversation is exactly how much music in those turbulent end of 70’s times had solid anti-establishment polemic. and i include The Clash in this .. and a lot of the two tone stuff and obviously many many more, another fave is Poison Girls : Dirty Work .. from out of all that Crass Records stuff.. now we seem to be in such similar times as regards global instability and institutional State immorality.. i wonder if we had such a ground swell of music voices protesting and ‘giddyupping’ the “Yoof” if we might not have had such idiot reactionary results in both the b word poll and the recent election here in the UK.

    Yep, i just tried now for you, got five drambo effects one drambo as AU instrument sequencing and five zeeons so its not bad.

    As for your question of real completed projects, personally i wont do that until finial release so i don't lose work. So little funbits.

    Thank man, Yep its a ipad pro 9’7 2017. 2 gig ram

    Im on ios 13 which might allow more AU instances to run, I'm not sure on that.
