Ionarics ‘rise and fall’ function

As I understand it, the ‘rise’ and ‘fall’ knobs are supposed to control the how long it takes to go from the lowest to the highest note in a sequence, and vice versa, the longest time being 2 seconds. But even when the amount is set to 100, I don’t see that it happens within anything like this kind of timeframe. Could anyone explain to me how it works exactly?

I like this app but I don’t understand anything about it. I turn knobs until I get something cool. It’s very, very hard to find the sweet spots, but when you do they are very sweet indeed.
I've been trying to figure this out too. Are those knobs only active in a particular mode?
Would've thought they'd be like the Attack and Release knobs in Cality, but they're not.
I really don't know, I've watched the tutorial twice, still didn't figure that out. Hopefully someone can enlighten us. Still dig this app though @Sequencer1
