Did you know that cross dj can access all the SoundCloud tracks and record them via IAA or AB??
You can then access all your favourite iOS music and mix it up
Traktor would get my vote for ease of use too.

Less popular, but hugely underrated: DJ Player Pro
Djay Pro because of the Spotify integration.

It may not have all the tweaks and customizable options as some of the others, but it has a few features that are key for me for weddings and music performance.
1. Obviously the Spotify integration is awesome, and I couldn’t imagine not having it. I use my iPad 12.9 with the Reloop Mixon-4 DJ controller for weddings and the combo has yet to fail me. Even though I have my MacBook with back ups of any songs that I need for a wedding...beginners and anyone really could use Djay Pro with a Wi-Fi connection and its Spotify integration and pull off a wedding no problem without spending great amounts of time and money acquiring audio files.
2. The second really awesome feature that is key for me, that many might not think about is that when you open up Spotify within Djay Pro and find a song, it will tell you what key that song is in because of its beatmatch algorithm. So for my solo acoustic gigs, I have presets saved in my TC helicon voicelive 3 pedal that have voice correction and enhancement in that particular key. So when I want to play a song and I know what key it’s in (thanks to Djay Pro) I can go directly to that preset and have my voice and all harmonies in key and sounding great.
This is why I recommend Djay Pro… But if you’re not into doing weddings and such, you might look into some of the others, but if you already have a Spotify subscription it’s a no-brainer. I hope this helps…

Best DJ app on IOS by a long way but some people think £50 for five years support of the most updated DJ software on IOS is too much for the full version, Essentials is cheap enough though.
I prefer djay Pro. It integrates with Spotify, though the integration will stop soon. But now it is available to use Tidal and SoundCloud on djay Pro. And it is also convenient to sync Spotify playlists to Tidal or SoundCloud via my DRmare.
Holy chuff, I didn’t know Spotify integration ends July 1st ... That’s disappointing to say the least.

DJDJ .. beat detection algorithm is dope
“DJ Player Professional” if you need a full midi support and other features (if not - “DJ Player EM”). Yes, “Professional” with subscription but “djay” is more expensive with the same (or less) options per month/year.
“soda dj app” was updated 1 year ago and feedbacks is not so good (a lot of bugs, etc...). I guess “thats why you can buy it as “DJ Legacy Bundle” with “d(- -)b” (older dj app from Zerodebug) at the same price”. Without future apps support.
“Traktor DJ 2” is good - when “iCloud Drive” and other cloud services with universal midi support will be available in future updates (maybe).
Also you can try “Cross DJ/Cross DJ Pro” by Mixvibes, “djay 2” (if still available on the App Store), “WeDJ for iPhone/iPad” by Pioneer DJ, “deej/deej Lite”, “edjing PRO DJ” and “DJUCED App”. 😏
Yup, sucks. I've spent quite a lot of money on various iterations of Djay on iOS and Mac, purely because of that feature – other DJ apps are superior in functionality but the Spotify integration is killer for a casual DJ. But in the back of my mind I was aware Spotify might cut it off one day... kinda annoying but hey ho, that's life when you depend on these cloud services I guess.
I'm choosing to take it as a positive and instead both build up my vinyl and (legit) digital collections of tracks - I had been getting frustrated at the lack of tagging etc. in Spotify/Djay, and often wouldn't bother with a tune if it wasn't on Spotify because of the integration, so probably a good thing for me (and the artists who's music I like) in the long run!
I did try the Beatport integration with Rekordbox (garbage, horrible UI and poor selection of tracks from what I could tell) and looked into Soundcloud/Tidal but neither appeal, the libraries are not big enough and I'm not interested in playing random mashups/track previews from Soundcloud.
I use DJDJ with a Numark DJ2GO2 (soundcard with stereo cue and output, plus midi controller). It's a great combo

God that's really disappointing. Spotify integration is the main reason why I choose djay Pro. Okay It is time to use my AudFree to transfer Spotify playlists to Tidal just as you saying...

You can run this one through a iaa host for recording through your own mastering fx etc.
Hands down DJDJ. It’s a secret weapon and I’m not in the mood to list it’s pros and specs but it’s great.

Has anyone else found SoundCloud pro to be totally worthless on these Dj apps? 99% of the stuff on there is from unknown producers and of only so so quality.
Sorry to go off-topic but how does the content on Tidal compare to Spotify?
Spotify has a massive range of genres going back decades, I get the impression Tidal is a bit more contemporary.
Tidal has almost everything that’s available on Spotify.
You can usually find a cheap subscription on F***book ads. I paid $5 total for 5 months of hifi family subscription.
Traktor v1 is still my goto dj app. It is near perfect for me but this is very subjective.
