  • Don't let one or two critics put you off Flo, you are a valued member of this group, there will always be some disagreements, don't take them so personally. @faland I think you have made your opinion very clear, no need to keep hounding this guy.

  • Yeah bro we love your tone and I appreciate your time and efforts in putting these awesome videos together! I wouldn’t off bought if it wasn’t for the videos.🙏☝️😌❤️

  • Our loss, for sure.
    I appreciate your past videos.
    Thank you for those.

  • Flo, during the many years you've been here, I'm certain you've seen more than a few flame wars on this site.

Some took their toys and went home — never to be heard from again. Some of those were great losses to our community and some were not.

You would be a tremendous loss. There are very few guitarist here, and even fewer everyone respects.

You are our go-to person when it comes to demonstrating and giving your thoughts on guitar apps. Like a movie or restaurant reviewer, there will be those who disagree with you. It's a part of the territory.

The Nembrini battle has been pretty ferocious, but I feel we are all slowly coming to our collective senses.

This pandemic has placed huge swaths of us in the unheard of position living in isolation, and some of us haven't dealt with it as well — myself included.

My humble advice: Take a couple weeks or a month off, let us crazy posters chill-out here and grace us with your input when you feel inspired.

We'll be waiting patiently for you!

  • Yes, tensions are high, Flo. Perspective is all. Just keep posting your tracks. That’s the most important thing for us music lovers.

  • Do as you must Monsieur Flo, but as and when you feel like sharing stuff with us again, don't let anything (especially pride :)) get in the way. Many of us have got a bit frustrated a times and wandered off for a bit, but have always found a welcome upon our return. I assure you it will be yet more so for your goodself....a bientot.

@faland I think you made your opinion very clear, there is no need to continue persecuting this boy.

I have not pursued anyone, I have only asked questions that have not been answered, and I don’t understand why.
Flo is a great musician, but since I've been looking for years for some really quality amp simulator on iOS, I'm very sorry that the reaction to this little bug has been so rude. For me it is not legitimate.

Then, I Just said very clearly that Flo's behavior had seemed unfair to me. I really don't understand why he behaved that way. I don't understand if he was a beta tester for Nembrini or not since he changed versions a couple of times. If he kindly answered only my simple questions, things would be much clearer.
    But he doesn't want to.

I can't write here what I'm thinking about these events because I don't have clear evidence, but in any case, his behavior ends up damaging Nembrini's image. They don't deserve it, I hope nobody earns anything from this.

Now, here's the latest pantomime. Music is over A little childish. Too bad as I like his playing very much, but not standing up to criticism is not good for a musician.

Anyway, I'm sorry if Flo felt offended by my questions, it wasn't my intention, in the end we are talking about music software. But behind these software there are people who work there and do it for a living. One should be more cautious especially if being excellent musicians can negatively influence many possible buyers. Especially in these absurd times.

  • Nnnoooonnnn ! Flo, reste STP 🙏🙏🙏🙏. Ne te laisses pas "intimider" ou agacer par (si peu) de forumers qui ne comprennent pas que ta démarche a un but uniquement constructif...

🙏🙏🙏 Keep on playing for us !... or, at least, keep on posting on your YT channel. 👍😉

When it comes to guitar apps on the
AB forum I check what you have to say first.

You are our go-to person when it comes to demonstrating and giving your thoughts on guitar apps. Like a movie or restaurant reviewer, there will be those who disagree with you. It's a part of the territory.

    See above.

I had no idea there was a battle.
    Has the dust settled.
    Does anyone need any tea?
Tea is quite good for shock.

Whenever something happens in the U.K
someone always asks ,'anyone for tea?'.

We'll be waiting patiently for you!

  • Shout out to @flo26 much respect
Don’t let the internet crazies get to you

I found nothing wrong in your actions

    Keep on rocking

  • @flo26 : I appreciate all the videos that you have posted and your demos and tutorials. I hope at some point you will want to do more, and I will understand if you don't want to.

  • @Faland : I never saw a post where Flo claimed to beta test. You keep questioning his motives and behavior, and, in my opinion, he has been reasonable and even expressed hesitation to call attention to the issue he raise.

He has made it clear that he loves the amps. He has posted some excellent demos that have certainly led others to purchase the apps.

I think this was a misunderstanding. Flo was apparently a beta tester for Nembrini, but this bug was not discovered in beta testing. It was discovered by Flo after the particular app had had been released (and then reproduced in others). As such, it was legitimate to discuss it on this forum. If I remember rightly it started as a query as to whether anyone else was experiencing the same problem.

  • Never take offence on the internet. That’s the only way I can make this online forum thing work.

@gusgranite, exactly right. Especially with music stuff. I mean, we are, at least with music, all in this together.

Thickness of skin is very dependent on your current situation. At the moment, after a few glasses of red you could call me a fat old hippy who makes a horrible, avant garde noise and I’d chuckle like a drain. Tomorrow lunchtime, after a couple of hours trying to work through a hangover with next door’s pack of dogs yapping and howling (yes, today I actually sampled them, and played it back to them, for three hours via an AudioShare loop and bass amp), I’d be decidedly less accommodating. Potentially murderous.

FWIW both of the gentlemen in question are outstanding chaps, so if they were here I’d take them down to the pub for a pint and some barking, later.

  • @flo26

You rock my friend. As many have already said, you will be missed if you stop posting your music and thoughts here.

Lol. Brilliant Monzo. There’s a howl at the moon canine across the street from me who deserves the bass amp too.

I would say it’s possible the world hasn’t been this collectively ill at ease EVER before. Yes, we’ve had wars & many countries have had dark days (as the other parts of the world were business as usual.)
This is 24/7 social media/internet interconnectivity as a global pandemic/global economic crash is transpiring. Lots of anxiety, uncertainty and fear. There’s no way that doesn’t seep into our psyche.

Music, and by proxy the AudioBus forum, is a refuge for our weary souls.

I’m lucky to be subscribed to your YouTube channel, and I hope you keep going with it, it’s been a big help and inspiration

Exactly, he did nothing wrong whatsoever. Faland with his baseless insinuations that Flo
must be doing this to destroy Nembrini because he is in the pocket of a competitor is the only one out of line from what I can see

if this is so, then it is all different. But why didn't you say it right away and would we have avoided all this mess due to a misunderstanding?

I apologize if I have been a little rude, there is absolutely no need to make penalizing decisions for other forum members by depriving them of your excellent demos for this.

  • would also like to say that at the moment i’ve talked about this problem,i was not beta testing neither bst100 or mrh810.
    I’ve NEVER beta tested them.
    From the thread “clarifications etc...”

This was obvious, yes, because at the time you first made your comments, the amp in question had been on sale for a while. You did absolutely nothing wrong and have been unfairly attacked. Now, just calm down and carry on doing your vids etc, they are appreciated by all.
