Delete imported samples in thumbjam
Hi, i imported some samples via wifi transfer but there are some audio issues with them that i had not notice, im triying to delete this samples but can't find that option in the app, so my question is: How to delete imported samples in thumbjam?
Comments
Go to Download Samples, drag left on the sample you're concerned with and you'll get some options, one of which is Delete.
That works with the instruments available for download, i Was refering to samples updated in to thumbjam by my self
Change preset, choose user, Edit button top right.
Actually, the only way to delete imported samples right now is from the WiFi transfer web interface itself. Look for the [Delete] link beside each of the listed sample files. I need to add another mechanism for deleting those within the app.
Thanks for the info

Would be nice. Hard to say it's not the best app out there, but it does get a little spendy size-wise if one doesn't keep up....
I think the web interface is quite good. You can manage samples, presets, and even scales. Of course this all should be available in the app itself, I agree.
I think it's one of the best sample player apps. Excellent import/export features, scala file support, excellent MIDI in/out, very good sample libraries for free ... But I confess, I never used my thumb to play Thumbjam.
Phil999, if you are on an iPad I don't blame you. But on the iPhone where it was born the name (and the technique) makes a lot more sense.
actually I have it only on my iPhone. Today I got two calls, which is rare. Normally I use this iPhone as controller, synthesiser, and sound bank.
But I understand the meaning behind Thumbjam and how it can be used with an iPhone. The name of the app does make sense.
Has the new mechanism been added yet? I imported a sample to test things, and now there's no way to delete it. The WiFi transfer hub is a pretty outdated method of managing samples. Audioshare support was a step in the right direction though mate.
Cheers.
Alas, it has not
Thanks for reminding me by bumping the old post though....
@sonosaurus
You're welcome mate.
Thumbjam is one of the best Romplers since you have 8 AB outs for 8 instruments, and only recently have I actually discovered it goes much, MUCH deeper than I ever thought possible! Not just key zones but velocity zones as well. Just an insane amount of sampling control, not to mention my favourite part...state saving. Thank you mate, and if you're in the States, have a happy Thanksgiving.
