Cool, I figured at much, but one can only be so sure with the verbiage provided haha. Thx!!
I could be wrong but I don’t think there’s a daw that lets you do more than 96k or maybe it’s something to do with the iPad itself? I’ve used a couple of interfaces ( Apogee Duet and SSL 2+) and they both support 192k but I’ve never seen any Daws that let me do more than 96k. 🤷🏽♂️
I’m on a budget: M-Audio Air 192|4 😂
A bit late to the party.

I have ipad pro 2018 11 almost identical to the 2020.
I use the Audient Evo 4
I used it in this video.
Connected to a usbc hub.
Link of usb is in the description
I go from my iPad to my iConnectMIDI2+ which has stereo audio pass through and then out to my speakers or into my DAW. Is all I need. Just responding cause I have great respect for iConnectivity and they have a lot newer products these days.
Just bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo and it works perfectly at 192 kHz in Audiobus on my 7 Plus/14.4:
Then AUM will follow 192 kHz:
@echoopera If what you’re after is permanent plug-in connections but not simultaneous recording a mixer or a patchbay would suit you.
arturia audiofuse studio here with ipad pro 11 ... a blast ...
Wow, that looks crazy, I didn’t know that even existed lol. Crazy specs. I ended up getting the Symphony Desktop, it sounds amazing to my ears 😁
@Strizbiz it’s a great one for sure. I had an apogee duet first gen, it is still working very well, but it is not supported anymore .... so no more apogee for me. Anyway, you got a great box ! Enjoy
I still have my Duet, with no plans on getting rid of it, still sounds great and when all this craziness is over and I can be mobile I’ll take the Duet with me and let the Symphony stay home 😁

It’s the duet second generation, right ?
Technically 3rd generation , it the Duet for Mac/IOS and it also has a usb midi input, but it’s not supported on my 2020 IPad Pro which was part of the reason I updated to the Symphony Desktop. The Duet will technically run but the Maestro software that controls it doesn’t work.
I have an eye on the SPL Crimson 3.

I like the features and it gets rather good reviews.
Anyone got experience with this Unit?
I have one of those, I bought it before the Symphony Desktop started shipping. It’s definitely nice for the price
I recently got a Zedi 10. It’s great and handy for plugging outboard gear. Good preamps and features. Works nicely with the iPad as there’s no need for a controller software, all available on board, I had to send back a Soundcraft as it required software to change routing. It’s great for FX loop, I send iPad audio through guitar pedals and back in. Satisfying and fun to twist some knobs. Good price, nice quality and build, a very good feature set and versatile. Also serves as a standalone mixer if you needed to.

SSL2 / SSL2+
that’s why i give up with apogee... no support ! too bad cause they make great devices ... i just don’t feel like buying a new apogee every 5 years
I really like my Zoom U44. Will it work with USB-C?
That evo 4 looks like a nice piece of kit @Strizbiz - any issues with it on iOS?
Sorry, I don’t have the evo 4, That was @Paa89
It still works great with Macs and PCs and older IPads pre USB-C, I don’t really blame Apogee, imo the blame lays at Apples feet. They made the decision to not support MFI interfaces anymore so it’s not just Apogee’s MFI interfaces that don’t work. Apples does things like that and ....like hey...let’s get rid of the headphone jacks! I don’t think musicians are high on their priority list 🤷🏽♂️
The Duet still works fine with my IPad Air 2 but I don’t use it for audio production anymore.
Anyway I’m guessing the Symphony Desktop will work for a while or until Apple decides not to support usb compliant devices, but I didn’t buy the Symphony strictly to use with the IPad , I’m mainly using it with my Mac.
a great device nevertheless. enjoy !
I’m an idiot. Thanks.
Cheap USB class compliant ADAT only interface with input and output!!! Where to get it in Europe?
