Ext Triggers
Does anyone know if a Korg PS-3 (https://www.korg.com/au/products/accessories/ps_3/) should work to trigger a pad on an Alesis Samplepad 4 (https://www.alesis.com/products/view2/samplepad-4)? I've tried all I can think of and it is not doing a thing. The pads all work ok.

You could make it act like one by adding a small electronic circuit using a battery, a diode, a capacitor and a few resistors if that's your thing. It won't be velocity sensitive though 😄
What's a diode
So this is a totally different beast, and more what the Samplepad needs?

Would one of these work using a normal guitar lead?

Hey, I love the idea of placing it under the footswitch rubber pad.
Makes it a dual function footswitch 😁👍🏼
Yes I saw that, an A and B setting. Not sure of the point of that but I'll give this a go and hopefully save buying a new pedal.
I get it now, the samplepad has 2 layers per pad and you can select ExtA or B.
