    if you have ableton, here is a great way to make quick one shot sample packs. the technique can be applied to any audio.

    You could just record a bunch of noise with ruismaker, and follow the steps in the tutorial.

    His channel is pretty great for outside the box ableton stuff in general.

    If the app is important and the issues one is having are 'fixed' by a more recent OS update then I really don't get why some refuse to update the OS?! (I have ZERO 'broken' apps installed on my iPad Air 2, iPadOS14.7.1).

    Amen. Update your freakin iPads. The one exception was the jump to 64-bit, if you wanted to keep something old. Otherwise, you’re just fear-mongering.

    A bit drastically said, but I second that. By not updating you are leaving a lot of security vulnerabilities unfixed and therefore endangering yourself and others. A vulnerable iPad can be used to attack computers on the internet by being part of a DDOS attack without that you even notice. This is actually used quite often by malicious hackers and is a threat to the economy and democracy.

    Is this true about older devices that can’t go any higher? I have a few that are unable to go beyond 12.x.x (which Apple actually still issues security updates for and I install when I do). These devices are the most recent I have, so they are my main ones for accessing the internet as well. I’d read articles (written before Apple had issued these most recent updates to this iOS) that these really shouldn’t be used for going online at this point, but I don’t have much of a choice, and again, Apple still updates it so i hope that means it’s fine.
