I love it, I use it as my main piano 75% of the time. Not many patches to start, but I’ve created so many of my own. In standalone there is a random patch creator by holding down the patch name you get a pop up with options. the built in fx are really nice, LFO options, you can really go way beyond an electric keyboard sound, yea it is great for that, but it can do a decent variety of key, key like sounds, pad sounds, soundscape type stuff as well. I really like apesoft instruments, this and mood, particularly.
Congratulations on your soundtrack. How does one get offered something like that?
Thanks. I have TB Barricade high on my list so I’ll probably pass, but thanks for the info.
That’s what I thought too.. until.. I saw @Daveypoo ‘s demo of it.. check it from about 9:20 onward.. needless to say, I now own Accordion + Electric.. 😁 👍
Sold. Lol. It’s like electric vintage in that way, yea it makes a great electric key sound but can do so much more. Does accordion vintage have the preset randomization like mood, & electric?
Finally, something for everyone (except perhaps vegans…)
There is I just saw it in the video. Purchased. Thanks @royor

@Poppadocrock Enjoy it! 👍
P-p-p-polka face, p-p-polka face...
Dude I’m seriously glad you shared that, bought it, love it, after 20 mins and creating a few
patches. Great for all kinds of pad, organ, accordion, evolving sounds. I love the option to choose between the openings too, with bass, bassoon, clarinet, piccolo. Well worth $4. Really great app.
@ashh yes yes. Wicked share 😎
It’s a lot of fun! Electric has become my go-to for an EP sound (had to delete Neo-Soul Keys for extra space).. whenever I fire it up, I always wonder if I could use Accordion instead.. once my initial Electric idea is recorded, I’ll usually test it out with Accordion.. and surprise, surprise! Happy accidents galore once you add an fx or 5.. 😁 They make a great combo..
I love the ApeSoft vintage emulations and now have 3 of them. What I don’t love is their presets browser. Who ever thought this was a good way to view and choose presets? Ugh.
True, me neither, but to me it’s a minor inconvenience, compared to the quality of everything else in the app.
Does electric vintage have an attack setting? There’s a sound I’ve been trying to emulate but forgotten where from. Maybe Jill Scott/ James poyser or somewhere. Very full sound but no attack. Tried with nsk and fac transient but no luck…
Yes, the quality of the sounds is just outstanding. The presets browser is just an annoyance.
The bell attack comes through nicely (at higher velocities). In my short play today I've found that adding some subtle distortion (built-in) helps accentuate the attack phase, as does higher resonance. A decent transient designer really helps too.
The built-in fx is surprisingly good and well-tuned to the needs of an EP.
It is the limiter Dean uses to protect his ears and speakers:
Ah, didn’t explain properly, was after a rhodes with ZERO attack. They do it here kind of but with tremelo by the sounds of it.

How do you get the tremelo to fade in with every chord though?
Sounds like it could just be a carefully set bpm synced 8th note triplet tremolo set to square wave.
Yes you have an ADSR with option to turn it on and off. Make sure you hit the power button to apply it.

The built in fx are quite nice, and there’s like 6-7 of them. The Wah, slicer, reverb, delay, chorus, distortion…that’s 6, did I miss any?
Lots of piano apps out there but I use this one the most out of my options. Electric Vintage that is. Accordion is really nice too. Just grabbed it today and already very happy.
I missed the EQ and the Phaser, that’s 8 built in fx on Electric Vintage, plus ADSR, LFO, it’s a quality app.
Ah! Found it! Thanks!

Tfx reverb too

anyone have any feedback on to how the CPU is on the TFX plugs? mainly the ChStrip? Looking for a very low cpu bread and butter eq /comp.
You can test the free app channel EQ that is just a 3 band EQ, just to see if you like that part of it.
I'll take that with sprinkles and a Flake, please.
