    Poppa sees and knows all.

That's a good price. Frankly, moForte should buy out or hire Matthias Demoucron to help them develop their own line of modeled instruments. I consider Demoucron one of the best working in that field right now based on his incredible work on the FingerFiddle app.

It is? I just used it? What do you mean by down? I’m not noticing anything in the states…

Well in terms of other resources my 2nd favorite is definitely AppAgg, it does discounts on Mac, iOS, android, pc, PlayStation, Xbox, steam, and one more. https://appagg.com/?hl=en

    I also use SynthyFrog, https://synthyfrog.com/

I follow several developers on Twitter who typically announce sales and things.

Another real good one, that does movies, music, tv series, as well as apps, everything in the Apple store is Cheap Charts https://www.cheapcharts.info/us/itunes/apps/on-sale

Not long ago Haq did a video on a site he likes to find app deals, but I can’t remember what it was.

    Happy Deal Hunting!

  • There is a sale I didn’t mention…. It’s an older app, but contains lots of sounds.

iDousyn is $2 off down to $1.99 - has IAA, and midi functionality

I don’t know if that will ever happen some day, but… well said !

I missed apeSoft's Electric Vintage when it was released so picked it up today, unbelievably for the princely sum of £3.49!

What a great electric piano for such a small footprint. Far, far better than Tines. It's obviously not a match for Neo-soul Keys, but NSK has a multi-gigabyte footprint, compared to the paltry 150Mb of Electric Vintage.

You really should try House: Mark I if you’re into EPs. I know a lot of people scoff at the Audiokit thing, but I think it’s fantastic! (And I think it’s also only $3.99) It has a “mechanical character” that I haven’t seen in anything else.

Of course I don’t have Neo-Soul Keys yet, so maybe that will compare.

    Hi!
Can anyone comment on the “Mix send & receive” auv3 plugin that comes with Ape Matrix?. It looks really useful but I’m wondering if it actually works. I’m thinking of 2 scenearios.

    • as a “group channel” substitute for daws that don’t implement group channels, like Zenbeats. So you can add a “send” instance of the plugin on all guitar tracks, for example, and then receive all those on a track that acts as a group bus. Is that possible?
    • Similarly, as an effect send bus. You got effects sends in almost every daw, but they’re limited to one effect per send. So you can send to a distorsión and a reverb, but you can’t send to a “distorted reverb”, that is, a send fx with a reverb and distorsion chained. Would this work?.
Has anyone had any experiences like this?. Or what’s your use case?.
      Cheers!.

Btw, i just bought electric vintage. Love ApeSoft apps. Anyone that doesn’t own iDensity should jump ahead without looking back. It’s fantastic.

I resisted iDensity for soo long as I already had the Max for Live version for Ableton, but ApeSoft has enhanced iDensity for iOS to the point that it's far superior to the desktop version. I'm not so much a fan of iPulsaret, but iDensity is one of the best (AUv3) granular tools on iOS.

As much as I appreciate Apple providing new content, I would rather see some updates to the app itself. Addition of a mixer and CC automation would be huge updates for me.

The same. I have been writing every year for 4 years using official Apple request to add automation (for mudulation and pitch band wheel, aftertouch, etc.) in Garageband, but never received any reply in this matter...

Quite frankly, I’m beginning to suspect that he’s just ignoring my calls deliberately.

    I would also add :

      • a master track to automate volume and tempo variations
      • other time signatures AND the possibility to change time signature between track sections
